I thought the image had been removed from reading the thread... but I didn't check for sure b/c of laziness and stuff

i have a theory that the delux RA toy was suppose to be repainted into a hearse and given a reflective name but this was scraped due to violence restrictions so his name was changed to Cannonball and his bio rewriten to mention that he was a pirate.

 

come on, look at him. doesn't the vehicle mode look a bit like the monster truck Gravedigger sans the giant tires?

Anyways, I think that thing on BeastX Megatron's shoulder that looks like a force chip slot thingy, isn't. It looks more like you might press Megatron's head down into the torso, and the thing covering his shoulder will flip back to cover his head...just a guess at least.

 

 

And Cannonball still a bit creepy. He has that skeleton painted on his vehicle side.

For some reason I always thought that was Dinobot spinning aroun in the holo-image but it doesn't have any kibble that would give a clue on an alt mode. Like I said before, I don't think they had alt modes prior to BW.

They're called "transformers" -- of course they had alt modes. Remember Megatron's derisive comment about Transmutate? "It cannot even transform!" Clearly he meant by that remark that Transmutate was deficient in some fundamental way.
