Very interesting... I'd like to see more Minicons released.

 

And if we're getting another Armada Prime, they should at least make it a different character from Prime/magnus/scourge. At least call it Motormaster this time...

Giant Planet Minicons in June. We were promised new Minicons with Cybertron, so these might be them. An interesting idea would be to make them almost normal sized TFs to reflect their "Giant Planet" origin. These also might be redecos of the Destruction Team with Metroplex's color scheme, like their Japanese counter part Megalo Convoy's Minicons.

 

Ransack in June. This may end up just being the white police special that came out earlier in Japan.

Skywarp and Red alert in May. Sky Warp we've seen already is a redeco of Thundercracker. The Red alert IS the one form the Convention club website.

 

Unicron and Armada OP in July. Unicron will be a deluxe figure they showed off at Botcon this year, but another Armada Prime?

 

Sept Hot Shot, Crosswise, and Landmine will either be redecoed or re-released... this was unclear in the plan. Hotshot is being re-released twice. Once as Excellion (Hotrod color scheme) and another time.

 

Blurr will either be redecoed or re-released in Oct

 

To me some of this sounds like the guy doesn't quite know what he's talking about... we were promised minicons so it'd be cool to make them normal sized...what does that mean?, If there's 2 "Hot Shot" redecos I'd assume it's a Hot Shot repaint and a Defense Hot Shot repaint, not 2 repaints of the car. Armada OP mentioned with Unicron makes me think it's the Deluxe Armada OP, or maybe "Armada Optimus Prime" will be the name for a repaint of Cybertron Optimus Prime.

I concur that it isn't three repaints of car Hot Shot, but a repaint of armored vehicle Hot Shot.

 

I'm guessing Armada Prime repaint is another repaint of bendy Prime - at this point Hasbro seems to be saving older leader-class repaints for Xmas time store exclusives.  However, considering how well he was received, it wouldn't surprise me to get a repaint of Cybertron Prime at some point over the next year.  A white Magnus version would be sweet.

I know he means basic/deluxe sized whatever but how would that make sense when he's talking about Hasbro promising more minicons... that would be more basics/deluxes... and defeats the purpose like you said.

 

I think the LOC prototype of Prime gives a decent chance of a regular retail release of a repainted Prime.

They should repaint:

 

Brimstone as Swoop

Sideways as Cyclonus

Blurr/Buzzsaw as Springer (Blurr seems to have the better head)

 

Was also thinking they could possibly modify:

- Mudflap as Inferno/Grapple

- Thunderblast as Scourge? (though this is a slighter stretch..)

i doubt we'll be having cybertron recolor toys all the way through next september, i'm willing to bet the neo g1 line starts in August.

They should repaint:

As I recall, Cybertron is supposed to be the "main line" through the next holiday season, especially as there are no figures in the neo-line at higher pricepoints - which tend to be big sellers during the holidays.

 

I expect the neo-line to begin materalizing around December.

Hm. "Basic sized" Minicons? Might it be another 3-pack? orrr, if it's basic-sized Minicons, I hope it's new moldings of Blit, Bumper and Hop...or whatever it is they're calling them in the US.

 

The Sideways as Cyclonus idea is awesome. Glad I'm not the only one who's noticed a slight resemblance...but it'll probally be the white scheme called Noisemaze(Not sure, but since they're naming the Exclusive Red Hot Shot as Excillion, I wouldn't be surprised if they named the Exclusive White Sideways as Noisemaze...which if Hasbro is recreating the exclusives, that'd leave Thunderblast as Minerva? )
