Is Hasbro still releasing NemesisBreaker?

Recommended Posts

I'm getting it, since I didn't get Leobreaker. This looks way better.

well considering that on the back of the Galvatron package they say Galvatron combines with Neimisis Breaker (though never does that in the show, wel GALVATRON never does at least) is a good sign that Nem is coming out...

I'll get it. I'd get Dark Ligerjack now but he's too expensive. It has a nice colour scheme and I'm trying to get all the show characters.

Saying Takara doesn't have the hutzpah... hm. I dunno if I would claim that, TBH. Then again, I am not all that good at telling Hasbro's stuff from Takara's.

As I said.. Show accurate's what I'm looking for. ;)

Robotmasters was a good example.  Just like Universe, it was their repaint line, so they had the opportunity to go all-out with the paint schemes.  What was the most complex paint app they applied to any figure in the entire line?  Wreckerhook's flame decals, probably.  Everything else was old hat.  Direct references to toys 20 years old (through inanely simple mono-chrome tampos, at that), and otherwise minimalist graphic designs.

Despite what people may say about the colour selection, there was at least effort put into the Universe line, graphically.  Towards the end of the line, it was the most apparent, with the subtle drybrushing effects on Depthcharge and Triceradon, and the realistic wear on Strika.  But even in the earlier stages of the line, Hasbro's graphics team took a chance to try things that hadn't been done before, like the silver lightning apps that were present on all the early figs, to more subtle things like merely picking out minor mold details with extra paint, that had never been emphasized before.

And I still stand by these assertions.  Takara's graphical style is very cut and paste.  Even when they do try to spice things up just a little bit, they largely turn out to be throwbacks to toys/publications that came out 20 years ago.  Or alterately, all black.  Or white.  Or chrome plated.  Or in the regular colourscheme, but transparent.  Predictable and boring.

I think he'll have those cool tribal con symbols on his shoulders hopefully but i checked the pics at the site with excillion and overide GTS to make sure

I wanted the figure since I first saw Dark Ligerjack. I'm sorta the only one who likes the mold (Very much, actually) and the fact that he matches Master Galvatron's colors make me really want this guy. Oh. And the Japanese version is too expensive for my taste.

However. I sorta feel like even the Hasbro version is going to be rare somehow...

Has yet to buy either Megatron or Galvatron.  :redface

I'm hoping he's not too rare. The repaints in this line for once easily surpass the originals.  :thumb

Reguading the tribal symbols, Takara's definitely had them.

Hope Hasbro get's it right. Coolest paint ap to date. :eek

I'd hi....er buy it. Black Tf's are pure goodness. :thumb

No.. the black repaints are "EVIL"!

The mold is bad, but I'll buy it because it should look nice with Galvatron(though they don't combine on the show) but also because it's a 2nd arm. I'm perplexed why they'd design 2 "leader" toys to have 2 extra arm sockets but only ever design 1 "voyager" toy that transforms into an arm! When the sockets were first discovered I expected several GF/C toys would have arm modes for the big guys.

I want to be able to put 2 arms on 1 "leader" (since the arm is so big and heavy it'll keep it more balanced) and I was thinking about getting 2 Ligerjacks, but the mold is poor enough I wouldn't do that even to get 2 arms, but make a nice repaint and that'll justify the purchase enough for me.

I know the GF verison had it, that's my point, guys. ;)

And I'm not gonna bash on Takara very much... They're part of Tomy now (or is it vice versa?), and I love Takara's stuff, even if what I personally get truly is bland, color-wise. ;)

Perhaps that was the plan, but then it fell through.
