Why does anyone actually think RiD deserves a commemorative toyline?

Because I liked it.

It most likly wont, though, since all but maybe 4 of it's molds have been repainted 2 or more times in later lines.  How many of the BW10 figures were repainted outside of BW?

So far... none I believe.

I was thinking of more of a new mold then an old one.  I think Fort Max really is the only way you could pull it off.  As a base bot it doesn't seem like the Transformation would be as difficult, and if you are putting it together yourself it would need to be a pretty simple transformation.

I thought Dinobot got repainted in BM.

Um, it's one thing to have a figure that assembles from a bunch of different pieces. It's something completely different to have a figure that transforms assembled from a bunch of different pieces. It would probably transform like Godbomber. . . and one TF like Godbomber is enough for me.

Nightbird was a nontransforming robot ninja created in Japan during G1.  In the episode Enter the Nightbird, I believe, it was stolen by Megatron and reprogrammed to steal Optimus Prime's rifle.  She was able to pretty well run willy nilly all over the Autobots because they didn't want to harm her permanently, because the japanese company wanted her back in one piece.

they actually made a Nightbird figure?

No.  They never made a nightbird toy.  That's why someone suggested it be made as a peicemeal figure I woud guess.

Interesting ideal, but Gestalt pieces are already a pain in the ass to collect. It was fun with Energon but personally I'm glad we're not seeing that trend continue in Cybertron.

As for Metroplex, I honestly don't see was's so amazing about him other than he's huge. Unicron is as big as I need any of my TFs to get. Also we're already getting a pretty nifty Metroplex in Cybertron. The alt mode isn't vey exciting but niether was fold out fortress.  :roll

Fort Max is who were are talking about, not Metroplex.

Fortress Maximus was the biggest TF ever released.  He was teh coolest cause he was a Headmaster X2!
