has there been any word on tm rattrap's mold,....has it been modified to be more show accurate.......hopefully with a gun as well? or is it the same as the original. I'm getting him either way but it'd be nice to know.

There were pictures posted of it in "News & Rumors" yesterday - no mold modifications.

At Botcon they said they used the TM Rattrap mold since it was the same pricepoint as the others.

 

I later talked to Greg Lombardo(TF Marketing guy) at the Hasbro booth, asking/hoping for an original Rattrap and they "thinking about how to pack things out", perhaps just lip service because I doubt he'd know the status of any random mold they didn't have definite plans for already. But I would also think there's some truth to the notion of how to pack things out evenly/balancing cost. While in 1996 2 basics retailed for the same as 1 deluxe, basics have increased in price, thus a Rattrap/Terrorsaur 2-pack might not be even with 1 deluxe figure anymore. Yes there's plenty of things they could do(not have an extra part with the 2 pack or whatever) but I'm just saying what I know of original Rattrap's status.

hey, I just got 10th anniversary Waspinator last night.  and I'm wondering, other than Primal, mega, dinobot, TM rattrap, and Tarantulus (sp?) , what figure do you want re-issued for a future wave?

 

Me?  I want Silverbolt.  I like wolves, and if the 10th Annioversary reissues will be strictly show characters, I want him in it.  All they need to do is make the eyes like the show Sliverbolt and they got a winner. Might also like to see Quickstrike, though.

What about Terrorsaur? He was a pretty major character in the first season.

I want a TM tralulas, or maybe a Inferno, a blackarancnia, airrazor, tigertron etc.

They need to issue a trio of basics: Original Rattrap, ^ Terrorsaur and ^ Quickstrike wood all be good.

 

Oh, and show accurate Scorponok and original Blackarachnia.

from tm on, i thought they were pretty accurate. if thet were to do more, then id agree that ba and scorponok should get some more attention. i mean unless theyll do some basics. then they should do terrorsaur and rattrap.

 

but like ive sadi before, the takara releases of the first season bw characters have really accurate piantjobs. terrorsaur and rattrap at least.

I am going to end up picking up Rattrap when he is released along with the prime and megs two pack, but what I really want is a show accurate Optimal Optimus, where his chest guns actually fold away.
