Do you mean a Voyager Scream Repaint to Skywarp? Id imagine that it would be unbeneficial(wallet wise) to import Screamer for 40 plus just for a kitbash you may just screw up. I have the TRU version but I want the Takara version for that color alone.

 

Or do you mean the TC mold?

Just got thundercracker today actually, and I'm terribly unimpressed with the mold.  A sideways repaint would be way awesome!! I thought they might repaint the supreme starscream as Skywarp....kinda like we have a black unicron. I thought that would have looked pretty darn good.  OH well.

With Supreme Scream being clearanced every where, and with Skywarp being so obscure, why would you ever think that?

A.Unicron got clearanced, E.Unicron was made.

E.Omega Supreme got clearanced, E.Omega Sentinel got made.

I think there's a decent chance of a Starscream or Primus repaint for just before Xmas 06

 

An item being clearanced does not automatically mean it was a financial disaster. If that were the case A.Unicron's clearance status would have meant scrapping plans for any further supreme molds but guess what? Hasbro's gone on to design 3 more supreme-sized molds.

Maybe Hasbro Learned from their lesson and will now release one versoind of each Supreme mold. Who wants a Supreme Skywarp any way JMO.

Hunter was meaning the Idea that Rawhide had for the Thundercracker mold.

 

What thundercracker needed was something that snaped the chest part to the back so that when you bring up the gun-arm that it snaps solidly to the side. There are grooves for the arm to snap into so it is not dangling out there...(why guys like remy have not shot pictures of this and leave that arm dangling  is beyond me).

 

But yeah the gun arm fits in there but te chest part needed to be much tighter snaped into the back somehow and it would have been the best jet mode to come in years in my book.

 

It would be nice to think tat skywarp would have such a remold but I know thats not going to happen.

 

Also we needed at least a new head sculpt, and anther improvment on the toy would have been to make the missles removeable so you pose him throwing the missles at his targets.

 

It's just a dream though........

Dude, I'm trying to say maybe there isn't a lesson to be learned. Previous guys have gone on clearance, but repaints have still shown up. Something that's on clearance may still have been a moneymaker.

Well, this guy is certainly a different (and perhaps refreshing) take on the Skywarp color scheme. And I must be one of the few that has been strangely charmed by the TC mold.

 

Just remember, we have a UBER-GEEWUN Starscream mold coming up in the "Neo-G1" line, so I'm sure that mold will get the SW/TC treatment...that will satisfy my GEEWUN needs.
