i don't like this at all!

i don't have the best luck with simple things like this, so I'd probably be the one who purchased the gimped toy

That's exactly the opposite of my luck. I somehow manage to evade all of the factory defects without effort (well, short of my mis-packaged G2 Silverbolt).

Omega Prime - joints are sturdy. And I can't possibly see how people can say he falls apart at the slightest touch. The only times he comes apart is when I'm transforming him.

RiD Storm Jet - what's this about the paint on the canopy chipping?

RiD Super Car Bros - no paint chipping. Although X-Brawn's racing aps are looking kinda worn, because those extra tampos don't seem to bond to his white paint too well.

Energon Rodimus - not a floppy or fragile heel or spoiler piece on him

Yellow Landfill - why do people compare this to knockoff quality? Feels exceptionally sturdy to me (especially since some of the pieces are molded with extra internal support struts that the originals didn't have).

And so on...

Too bad this luck doesn't seem to apply to any other aspect of my life...

the only thing i can think of that justified my takin back of a TF was a missing part. though when i took back my E-TW, i somehow leftout Ramjet nd they took him back no questions asked. was it on purpose? no, but what made me sad was when i saw him BACK on the shelf for reg price!

something that ribs me with guilt now and again -- remember when Arm OP came out first, and his super-shoulders couldn't move a lot (forcing him to shoot at the ground)? Well, months later, a friend of mine bought him for me for my birthday (he lives out of state, so didn't know i already had him). Well, it was after the second (repaired) wave of Arm OPs came out, so i VERY carefully removed the robot, stuck mine in there in its place, and returned it for a refund, and picked up Jetfire and the Space Team. So basically, whoever got that, got a wave 1 Arm OP instead of a wave 2, but it's not broken (all my bots are in pristine condition).

Didn't keep an extra Sparkplug or anything.

Still...feel a little guilty on that...

Well my Unicron broke and the missile thing just wouldn't stay in and I said that it was defective but kept dead end. They end up in the trash and it seems cruel to condemn a minicon for a crappy partner. I have never had to return any other tfs tho.

same here, both dead ends sit on his shoulders as mini cannons now :thumb

Lol, thats what I do with mine too! In Planet mode one sits in hims stomach storage area (I call it a control room for the planet mode) and one sits in the special powerlinx area.

Actually you are wrong about the returns ending up in the trash. I have worked in merchandise returns. All of the returns are sent back to the originating company for a credit to the store. (Walmart returns the TFormers to Hasbro and gets their money back)

It seems dishonest to me.

I just saw an armada prime at TRU with the wrong minicon in the box. I thought it was a factory error but upon closer inspection, the box had been opened. Looks like someone did this on purpose. I've personally never returned transformers ever. Not yet...

I just saw an Armada Predacon that had a knock-off Hotwheels type car that had been put in place of one of the car Mini-cons that came with him at my local TRU. Box had been opened.

sorry never done it..... Doesn't sound honest....

Inadvertantl is one thing..... but intentionally keeping a part and returning it as defective.... Raises some questions.

Not to mention it also raises prices. TRU is hurting as it is people with 3 years in row of loses in the millions!

I know TRU is not the best place around, but man I would certainly miss them if they closed down.

At very least, you've just bought your selves some bad karma. :tflaugh

Nope,I purposely told them it was a defective Unicron which was broken and the lady even compared it to the replacement I got. They were definately gonan throw it in ther trash, and I never saw it on the shelf again.

I prefer to have one on the ring, and one in the special powerlinx port :thumb

and in robot mode, eith erboth on shoulders or one in the chest and one in the leg*or both in the legs*
