The Mazda is the best mold so far. Back seats combined with the best flexibility\balance\articulation make it a step above.

Smoke: Not bad, everything was pretty good.

Sideswipe: Great mold....legs were a bit long and hurt the posability.

Hound: Hollowed out chest and rigid arms hurt this mold.

Tracks: Needs to have better articulated arms and a pivoting waist.

Grimlock: The one panel stomach hurt this mold. Lack of knees didn't help either.

Windcharger: PRETTY decent....shoulder got in the way of arm movement though, but overall a very solid design.

Prowl: sissy girl arms and stiff legs hurt this mold.

Skids: A pretty solid mold. Needs a pivoting waist though. I REALLY liked the telescoping legs.

Optimus Prime: Won't judge until I have one in my hands.

Definetly the Mazda. Honorable mentions to the Corvette.

Skids, the mold fits him perfectly and he is one of the most articulated Alts yet.

Prime got my vote...I love the truck mold, and come on! It's Prime!

I voted the Mazda RX-8 mold because of all the positives that people above have already mentioned, because I like Jazz and Shockwave as characters, and because I LOVE the car. It's the only Alternator that I have all the existing repaints of, and the only one I've paid higher than MSRP to get.  :clap

For me, the Acura RSX is a close second, though. Prowl is also one of my favorite characters. It is unbelievable that at the time that I write this, no one has voted for it yet.  The only reason I didn't vote for the RSX is because you MUST do the leg swap to make it a good, poseable figure, whereas the RX-8s are awesome right out of the box. The arms? They are a little small, but that doesn't bug me at all. I really like the car mode, and I am strongly biased in favor of Japanese sports cars vs. American ones. :tfsad

The Suburu comes in third. It's poseable enough, but a little tricky to transform. I'm lukewarm on the car itself.  I got Smokescreen because he was on sale at the time, I liked the colors, and I didn't have any Alts when I bought him.

The only other Alt. mold that I own is the Viper as Dead End, at it's my least favorite that I actually put down cash for. It's one of the few American cars that I like the looks of, and I wanted a Decepticon, so I bought Dead End. This toy would be so much better if the legs were a bit shorter and it actually had articulated hips, which is my biggest problem.  :roll

I've been tempted to get Ravage as the Corvette because I need more 'Cons and Corvettes are another one of the handfull of American cars I like the looks of. I was hesitant because of the "kitty head" (looks strange on a humanoid bot), and because I've never liked convertables.  Tracks is sorely tempting now that he is back on the shelf, since I like his color and the fact he's a hardtop, but I already have too many Autobots. Same goes for Swerve, but I prefer blue to red.

I thought I might want the Honda S-2000 but I don't care for any of the paint jobs, characters, and yes, also because it's a convertable. Windcharger is "meh", and Deceptitard looks downright awful. No gun barrels doesn't help, though, yes, I know you can order them on the web. :tfpuke

The Scion X-box? Disike the vehicle in real life as it looks like a rolling toaster. Skids is a "blah" character at best. I wouldn't want the Blaster repaint, either (orange? yuck!). I just hope they don't use this mold for an Alt. Soundwave. :tdown

Don't care for Jeeps, because of a general aversion to SUVs.  :redface

I'm not a pick-up truck fan, and why do we need an Alt Prime anyway? I like my 20th Prime who I just bought a trailer for just fine.  I might consider buying the Dodge Ram mold if they repainted it and released it as either Scourge (in black and red) or Ultra Magnus (in white and blue).  :wtf

The Mustang? I don't like Fords and hate pony cars in real life so much that I won't even buy toy versions of them. Won't get Mirage, either.  :tfmad

I certainly don't begrudge anyone getting molds I don't like, and am glad there is some variety there to keep the line going.

But personally, I'd like to see a repaint of the Acura as Runamok, as well as a Nissan Z, a Toyota Celica, Mitsubishi's Eclipse and Lancer, and Honda's Civic. Maybe the Civic can be Bumblebee and the Lancer can be Cliffjumper, since we'll never get an Alt of a German car.  Don't know who the Eclipse and the Celica could be, but I'd buy them if the colors weren't horrid (i.e., yellow or orange).

I'm Smokescreen followed veeery closely by Skids and Prowl (only because he's Prowl  :thumb ).

Well, I WAS going for the BT-01, but since no binaltechs are allowed, I'll have to settle for the Honda S2000.

Seriously, WTF? "No BT allowed"? What's that about? All BTs molds  ARE Alternator molds as well! That limitation is just stoopid.

Anyhow, my fav. is BT (:P) Grimlock.

I made an Alternator only poll because I own the first 16 alts but no BTs. Hasbro doesn't sell BTs and most people don't have the free cash to buy the whole line (plus Cybertron, Universe, BW 10th, etc...) Why don't you start a BT poll and I promise not to spam it up :tfgrin
