Well than I guess I should clarify what Im saying. You say you want something 'different' well what if that meant putting a big clown head on the thing? That'd be different, but not necessarily an improvement. Could they change his current head up so it'd look cooler? Sure, but I doubt it. They'd probably end up using something that looked just meh.

He said an original head mold, he didn't say a head mold that was a departure from anything HasTak have ever produced before for this line.

For all the Richochet/Rollbar haters, I had a thought.

 

Instead of straight repaints with new names after the originals have all sold, would you prefer them be straight repaints with the same name as the orginal released at the same time?

No, Im just saying that one minute someone says "hey, lets have something different" and then something different comes out, and its not what they had in mind and then the Starscream-fest starts.  Im saying make sure 'different' is actually something good, as opposed to different for the sake of different.

that blue on mirage needs to be darker...its too light... plus the figure needs a spoiler too...

So, since the Swindle head is so perfect, they should just use it on everything then? :roll Different =/= bad. Clown head?!?!?! Use some common sense instead of hyperbole.

 

And I could care less about some nothing character getting a retread. You say you care about the character? There is damn near no character here.

That was my entire point.  Swindle was a bit player, and Rollbar is a nobody.  Since there's nothing new about Rollbar except paint, this makes him rather less than appealing to me (and quite a few others from the posts here).  You like orange.  Great!  Other people need a bit more than that.

 

Sure, you're entitled to your opinion same as anyone here, Im not suggesting otherwise and never meant to imply that I am.  But the bottom line is by merely suggesting 'something different' without giving specifics or having any real direction

I (and several others) suggested a new head, not your ambiguous "something different."  What more do you want?  A CAD file?  Hasbro is much better at designing these things than I am, as evidenced by there not being a single head that didn't fit the CHARACTER of any Alt.

 

Different =/= bad.

 

that's the kind of thinking within Has/Tak sets the stage for them to do something really boneheaded. Like stick a cat head on a mold that was meant to be a humanoid robot, and make no other changes.
