He better look damn good up close. I so wanted to be an completist with at least one TF line but Ricochette just looks too embarrassing to own. So G2 Sideswipe. Skids flames are a masterpiece in comparison.

man, I would have loved ricochet has a repaint of Jazz. That would've made sense. Don't care for rollbar. I was done with the jeep when swindle came out. I'm liking prime though. I hope someone gets a proto of him soon so we can see his correct transformation. These mistransformed pics are killing me.

I'm a little disappointed that they aren't even springing for new head sculpts anymore. At least Swerve had that much. This is pretty poor.

You know this is just carma. we had so much good TF news all week. Hasbro just had to Blot on us.

There is a serious problem with HasTak.  Do they think these recolour will sell?  Or they just make them like Swerve which is so short of production which makes the demand *high*  :wtf

I believe Hasbro's using these repaints as a way of getting toys on the shelves that represent molds that people new to Alternators may have missed the first time around.  At Botcon they mentioned that they don't set out to create lines where people collect every single figure, they honestly think that all of the OCD fanboys will be able to resist these new molds.

 

While this approach makes some sense with the Subaru, which hasn't been readily available for almost a year, the Jeep choice is odd considering that Swindle has been so common over the past year evertime I flush a toilet I expect to see a Swindle pop-up amongst the back-flow.
