And one that has not been fully relized in the altmodes of the "please don't turn me over or you'll see my robot parts" tie fighter/vader and wheelbike/bike.

That's something you can get away if your alt-mode is a car, but on a plane/space ship it's lame.

What i dont understand is why the backkibble/wings wasnt incorporated into some fin type things on his legs and arms.  if all that Wacky stuff was distributed into the three areas of his back/arms/legs - then it would not be so massive back there...

Yeah, it has a lazy, "that's good enough" quality to it.

The thing that disappointed me the most about the Obi-Wan figure (besides the kibble) was that they did not use a normal ball joint on his hands. Instead they used a ball joint and then shoved a metal bar through it, limiting it's rotation to only a slight twist.

 

Think how much better the figure would be if you were able to have the elbows facing backward and still having a full range of motion for the lightsabers. It stinks that such a small change could have prevented causing the only way to have the lightsabers staright being to have the elbows facing sideways.

 

This is what makes the Vader so good, full hand rotation (plus very ligttle kibble).
