Hey Squall you know that is a great idea, but does it still allow the arms and gun to fit? The Acura mold has such a problem with space under the hood as itis.

Yo Squall, thanks for the tip! I tried it on Hound and it looks great. He doesn't require to mess much with his headlights, because he has them clear in the middle (little rectangle see thru) .

Hey CX-1 glad to hear it worked...

Post pics if you can...I'd love it if, as a whole, TFans could get every mold to light up in some way, shape or form!

Anybody else have a successful light installment?

It disturbs me a little how inexpensive those parts must be for Target to include them as a gimmick in a gift card.  5 years ago it wouldn't have been that way.  So weird.

Hey Squall I`m still wondering if the arms , and gun will still fit after you`ve added the lighting equipment due to the Integra`s small engine compartment. If not then I suggest that you put the electronics and the battery on the ceiling and run the cords for the lights into the frontend.

Well...it fits...but not with the engine...its engine or no engine.

That is one way to fix that issue...I believe it wouldn't be too difficult to wire it from the inside of the roof to the lights...but on my VTEC character I can't...because I left the middle of the roof clear for the sunroof.

However, I am gonna make another character from the Prowl mold...G1 Turbomaster Getaway.

That's always the main trick, finding some gadget that we can tear apart and use the electronics.

Great idea with the card.  Should be a list or something telling everyone about good parts and such.

For the longest time, I remember either a key chain or match box police car with working lights and siren.  I can not find one anywhere.  Such a small toy with a tinny, self contained siren kit would be ideal to stick under the roof of a ALT, and make a light kit from some model work.

I went through 3 or 4 different police and related siren toys before I got my Electronic Prowl to work...and the electronics are still a tad too big.

I did find a NASCAR car key chain, with blinking headlights (red I'm afraid) that also had voice and sounds...its a shame that it was Gentlemen, start your engines!  If they could take this unit, rework it to say AUTOBOTS TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT! with the blinking headlights would be perfection.

I'm still looking for a small Police siren kit, the NAMCO blocks has a police car with a small unit I might try.

Actually, head lights you really don't even need electronics.  If you can figure out how to take a watch battery or 2, wire it to an on off switch, and complete the circut with the lights, the direct current should light em up with out the circut board.  Might be easier to hide somewhere as well.  Maybe lay them side by side, and figure out how to make the metal connector brackets to get the charge and hold them in place, and run the switch say down under the front nose.

Another great idea is to find those greeting cards that allow you to record your voice.  Just rip out the electronics and then you can use it for any sound you want.  I had my 20th anniv prime saying "one shall stand, one shall fall" whenever you pushed his matrix light button.

The best part is you can change the sound by recording a new one!
