I have all the DVDs from TFs Seasons (don't have Cybertron or Armada Vol, but have Season 1 part 1)

Anyways since I do computer security for a living I would have to say the smarter the thief the smarter the method has to be to thwart them, before to long you will have sony root kits all over the place....

Pssst The root kits don't work on Mac OS X

Virus total to date

178,456 Windows Viruses (Slightly Exaggerated)

0 Mac OS X Viruses

Why cause they (mac os x systems) are designed smarter (than windows and much smarter than Linux Boxes - security on them is far worse...everybody sees code is like giving the blue prints, guard shift change, security camera angles, etc to fort knox to the bad guys)

If you say it (lack of viruses/security problems in general) is cause of less market share your stupid...

Tell me a design function of OS X that can help prevent viruses? If you can answer that then you are smart enuff to know that OS X is designed better than bullet hole ridden windows crap piled on top of more crap makes for a great product right?

RANT OVER

Don't ask me how that has anything to do with DVD copying...lol...

Just find it funny that alot of windows user have to "buy" a product to either author or "rip" or burn DVDs...pretty funny....

Keep in mind not talking about advanced stuff, that is what DVDSP is for....i will stop talking now since nobody can follow my thought process anyways...

Have not noticed anything of DVD's deteriorating and I have watched some of them often.

I do agree the prices of movies can be hight and the multiple versions are annoying. I own all Terminator movies but new version of the DVD are out now and I was even tempted to buy it because it said it has enhanced image on the case.  :tftongue

They are sneaky ones indeed.  :tflaugh  Then again, they are not forcing me to buy those.

I don't believe in copying DVD's. If you want to have a movie in your collection, then pay the money to own it legitimately.

I have some copied dvd's, about half my collection. I "know" someone who gets promo's, very, very good copies. There may be a 1 minute part somewhere in the movie thats in black and white or a counter in the upper right hand corner of the screen, but I dont mind that. Plus I get them for free so thats a bonus.

Oh yea, how do I feel about copies? I really don't have an opinion/don't care.

the only copied DVDs I own are Beast Machines and RiD.  Niether of which are availble legitimately. :tftongue

As far as DVDs I just have Beast Machines since it's not out yet, but if you add movies sitting on my harddrive I have several Japanese TF shows.

*rantstart* I copy DVDs like a madman - eventually DVD's will go the way of CD's - useless - all will end up on a drive virtually somewhere in the end - no more cleaning your VHS out and Blot - not to mention price - I feel like robin hood sometimes just passing out free movies - lol - people try and give u this guilt trip like u r hurting the industry - it is BS - check the stats - industry is thriving - I still buy movies sure - I love movies - always will buy them - but it is not feasible to get all the movies I burn [i must collect them all-I must collect them all-lol] - and are u ripping someone off? - think of it like this - u r getting ripped off - but that is ok b/c it is legal - no sorry - that don make it ok at all - all u r doing by copying these is fighting back - a perfect example is music cds - if u listen to alot of hardcore/punk u will find bands that say fuq the industry and their stealing bullBlot and mark 5.95-8 bucks on the cover of the album - so i don feel bad about it - everyone knows what is right - just cause the law says so does not make it so - the law allows people to screw each other over - and that will never be alright. *rantover*
