So how do those two figures fit into the Cybertron line? Does something happen to Megatron in the series to make him Galvatron (something along the lines of the Defense upgrades some of the Autobots get)?  I don't have cable (havnt for 2 years now) so I dont get to watch the show, and I only have 1 VHS tape, "New Beginning", and Megatron is Megatron.

I must say though, I prefer his Galvatron color scheme much more than Megatrons.

Oh, and I finally opened my Optimus figure...he's great! I had no idea his chest opens and there's a little Matrix in there....love it!

Megolo Convoy/Metroplex wipes the floor with him.  He  (Megatron) merges with Planetforce of Gigalonia/Giant Planet and becomes Galvatron.

Yes, he gets upgraded late in the show when they are on the giant planet.

Most/all of the upgrades in Galaxy Force are due to the sheer will of the person resonating with Primus's spark, and getting the appropriate upgrade.

The same holds true of Megs.

Edit: sucks that he lost his pet cuz of it tho.

his pet??

Overhaul touched the power of Primus and Jungle Planet and got upgraded to Leobreaker.

Hot Shot, Red alert and Scattorshot get slagged by Megatron and get upgraded into the CD versions of themselves.

Megatron get butt whipped by Metroplex and touches both the power of Primus and Giant Planet go get a nice new paint job and starts calling himself Galvatron.

Cool...I cant wait to see it.

I've been looking around Wal-Mart, Target, FYE, Suncoast Motion Picture Co, and Blockbuster for old Armada and Energon series, or even Cybertron, but nobody seems to have any. I even checked places that sell used DVDs and VHS...nothing. Did Universe have a show devoted to it? Oh, I do have an Armada DVD "Greatest Battles". Pretty cool.

Oh, and while I'm thinking about it, does anyone know where I can read up on the whole Binaltech story? Someone told me Nevermores site, but I cant seem to find it anywhere...only a mention about it being printed in the instruction booklets of all the BTs.

Yes, Megs gets a pet.

It's kinda both better done, and worse done than the same plot idea in Energon/Superlink.

his pet??

He gets Dark Liger / Nemesis Breaker as his Link-up partner. Unfortunately, the poor guy dies when Megalo / Metroplex smacks Megatron with his axe the first time they face off.

He's Megatron's pet because he really doesn't have his own personality and acts like an animal. He even purrs when Megatron strokes him on the head.
