when's wave 4 deluxe cybertron due out?

Recommended Posts

Oh to answer your questions Jan 06 it should be hitting shelves...

According to Bills Toys and Games, they should be shipping now so the online stores should have them before Christmas, brick and mortar are and will always be iffy.

Cybertron Defense Hot Shot and Downshift will probably cycle in around late January/early February.

So, Skullfire, 13 new toys in the past month not enough or what?  In late October/early November we saw:

Backstop

Bushguard

Street Speed Minicon

Wreckloose

Blurr

Buzzsaw

Longrack

Runamuck

Snarl

Sideways

Evac

CD Red alert

and Galvatron should be showing up before Christmas.  And that doesn't even count Alternators

And I don't know about you, but the Armada remold wave is quite plentiful around here.

I post the dates of mass release...when somebody @ Meijer in Richmond IN will see them... not where ppl in Sacramento California or in Pawtucket RI will....

Action HQ & that Austrillian place (sorry not saying the name) always get stuff about 1 / 2 months early...

I am betting that some PX/BX might even have wave 4 DLX out now (specifically Travis AFB's) but most ppl don't have Mil ID's so doesn't count

thanks....to bad Hasbro won't get smart and release these for x-mass. They are missing out on a great opportunity to sell alot.

After January toy sales will drop becaise most people are too busy paying off their x-mass purchaces on credit and collecting money to pay their taxes.

No they're not missing an opportunity. Sideways, Snarl, and the 4 Armada remolds have just barely been released, plus there's the previous 6 deluxes too. Now while collectors may have most/all of them, the Christmas toy season is for kids. If Hasbro pumped 3 more deluxes into the batch of 12 already out, they'd just be diluting the market and sell fewer of each item.

There also needs to be a new wave in January to "refresh" after the Christmas splurge. That's usually a big time for new stuff to come out.

Bingo...

You hit the nail on the head...

Minicons Wave 2

Cybertron

DLX Wave 4

Scout Wave 5

LOC Wave 3

BW 10th Aniv

DLX Wave 5 out in Feb (adds SWAT Hot Shot & Downshift Maybe another one)

That's 4 Armada remolds.

And I don't recall Wheeljack being in Cybertron at all. Unless you mean Downshift.

The Armada remolds shouldhave never been done..........everyone has one and they stay on the shelves. everyone passes them up for someting new.

Oh yea and I did mean downshift but honestly....how can anyone not call that wheeljack?!?! It's wheeljack to me.

The only problem I have with the January release date is the fact that most stores restock next to nothing after X-Mas...last year I didn't see anything new until around April or May :grr

Hopefully the stores didn't over order Waves 1 through 3.5 this time....

Well for me I only get deluxe sized figures. And the recent offering has been pretty slim.

Hasbro has waisted time and plastic remolding 3 armada deluxes which, well, most of us already have. so that only leaves 2 brand new deluxe robots to get; sideways and snarl.

It would have been nice seeing that these remolds are realy nt in the cartoon to have saved the remolds for the spring time. And had given us wheeljack and crosswise instead along with maybe thunderblast. That would have been much better since that 2 out of that list are at least in the present episodes on tv.

So... lemme get this straight...  Hasbro has been giving us plenty of new molds/toys in the past month or two, and because of the limited number of figures in the size that you normally buy, you're complaining about Hasbro.  I dunno, seems like a pretty selfish complaint to me.

I mean, I don't have the original Armada molds (I pretty much didn't like anything from Armada), and I think they did a decent job on the remolds of Blurr, Buzzsaw and Longrack (although I still think that A-Sidesipe/C-Runamuck looks stupid).  Enough to make me want to get them now.

I'm a pretty selective buyer myself, and on top of that, I live in Canada (Montreal, to be precise), so distribution sucks even more around here.  As long as Hasbro keeps giving us stuff to replace the empty shelves, I'm happy.

Haven't seen any new deluxes past Override and Red alert here in MA. So I don't want them to push distribution ahead. I never saw Energon Magnus, and I don't want to miss out on anything else that way.
