well, I'm hoping to get a nice new crosswise for x-mass this year to tide me till the new downshift/wheeljack figure and the new rumble dones are out.

Yeah, but if their distribution efficiency would be the same as it is now, it wouldn't make a difference and most of the retailers would get their new TFs on January or even Feb. Hasbro doesn't probably want to introduce another new assortment since Wave 3.5 has just recently came out and people are still trying hard to find Sideways and Snarl. They probably want to sell a lot of Wave 3.5, since it will be the only assortment with the Armada remolds.

Cybertron Defense Hot Shot and Downshift will probably cycle in around late January/early February.

 

So, Skullfire, 13 new toys in the past month not enough or what?  In late October/early November we saw:

Street Speed Minicon

Wreckloose

Blurr

Buzzsaw

Longrack

Runamuck

Snarl

Sideways

Evac

CD Red alert

and Galvatron should be showing up before Christmas.  And that doesn't even count Alternators

 

And I don't know about you, but the Armada remold wave is quite plentiful around here.

No Sideways here Sigh...

 

Only Cybertron Figure besides SWAT Red alert that I haven't seen...

Oh and Street Speed Team I haven't seen either but already have the GF ones of those in both Red/Yellow/Blue & Maroon/Purple/White

The only ones I'm missing are Blurr, Ultra Red alert, and Galvatron

Well for me I only get deluxe sized figures. And the recent offering has been pretty slim.

 

Hasbro has waisted time and plastic remolding 3 armada deluxes which, well, most of us already have. so that only leaves 2 brand new deluxe robots to get; sideways and snarl.

 

It would have been nice seeing that these remolds are realy nt in the cartoon to have saved the remolds for the spring time. And had given us wheeljack and crosswise instead along with maybe thunderblast. That would have been much better since that 2 out of that list are at least in the present episodes on tv.

That's 4 Armada remolds.

 

And I don't recall Wheeljack being in Cybertron at all. Unless you mean Downshift.

No they're not missing an opportunity. Sideways, Snarl, and the 4 Armada remolds have just barely been released, plus there's the previous 6 deluxes too. Now while collectors may have most/all of them, the Christmas toy season is for kids. If Hasbro pumped 3 more deluxes into the batch of 12 already out, they'd just be diluting the market and sell fewer of each item.

 

There also needs to be a new wave in January to "refresh" after the Christmas splurge. That's usually a big time for new stuff to come out.
