So i won this item on ebay

It cost me 6.99 buy it now and they had sent me an invoice for a total of 9.99 usd which i had paid for as soon as i recieved it. It is now 6 days later and i get an email saying they have refunded me because of shipping and then asked me to pay them more money! Im a little pissed @ the situation since i paid promptly and they gave me the shipping price how can they just ask for more money after 6 damn days all i can say is my S^%$ better be shipped. Any thoughts? Am I over reacting?

Seller messed up.  3.00 for shipping should have been sufficient.  Stand your ground.

i could see extra money if i recieved it the next day. i paid $5 for a wst and got it a day later so it was worth the little extra this seller just said she hasent shipped and will not until i pay the rest of the fee

File a complaint with ebay if nothing else. I'd say it's pretty stupid, if they were concerned about the cost of shipping they shouldnt have sent you an invoice with the total. I'd say it's the seller's problem and they should accept that fact and ship you your item.

ive never done a complaint with ebay before i should find out how and kick up a stink...im kinda worried ill get screwed and get nothing :(

something thats especially as small as that should have been cheap to ship.

I sell on ebay a lot.  It sounds like the seller expected to make more money.  They can't get more out of the auction, so they maybe trying to get some profit from the shipping fee.

 

What exactly is the new shipping fee?  Was the original shipping fee listed in the item listing? 

 

You can post a complaint to ebay or mutually agree with the seller to cancel the auction. 

 

I would ask that they PLEASE honor the original shipping charge and invoice, and then kindly point out that this will affect any feedback you leave for the seller.  Or you could also mention filing a complaint to ebay, but I would only do that if you are sure you no longer want the item.

I sell alot on there myself. Have had plenty of times where it cost me more to ship than what I said it would but any good seller would eat the extra cost and honor the original price and shipping fee. Theyt can't do that to you. It's people like that that give it a bad name. File a complaint and stand your ground on it. They cannot do that to you.

It's the seller's responsibility to determine the shipping cost before he actually posts an auction.

 

Pretty sad that some Ebay sellers only give a damn about customer service before you send them the money.
