Drat, drat and even a triple drat!

It only happened with Kicker and Lonrack.

All others lasted awhile. It does get annoying when it happens but I doubt Hasbro intends for these things to last for 20 years. I think most kids want new toys every Christmas.  :tftongue

My Saberback's spines broke the first time I TF'd him, but it's not a takara thing becuse my TFU Striker broke in the same place

I just opened up my Actionmaster Rollout the other day and moved his arm which promptly popped off.  I noticed that the painted chipped right off the peg so now if I can secure the arm tightly but if I move it up and down it comes off again.  Man was I ticked.  Elrod suggested that I try to use superglue to make the arm peg bigger thus keeping the arm on securly but I think I might try the clean nailpolish trick to fix him.

I had an Emergon Shockblast that broke in half at the waist after being transformed 4x, and recently I snapped the arm off Leobreaker trying out savage claw mode....

Action Master arms are known for popping off. But I never heard of it happening that fast.

For ball joints, clear nail polish is recommended but I have never tried it myself. As a kid I used a piece of cello tape around the joint of Action Master arms to re-attach the joint. Worked for awhile.

Seems like I am not the only one to have bad luck with new toys.

Guess the Takara and Hasbro versions are not all that different. A real shame though as it is probably really hard to fix.

I remember when I was younger I was un-combining Abominus and broke sinnertwins head off in the combiner port

As for Longrack ive had mine for 4 or 5 years and nothings ever broke on him

I can't think of any TF's that have broken on me like that...........

So i must be due one soon..

(affraid to open pile of Cybertron toys behind me.)

Boy was I on the money.....

My Supreme Starscream has dead electronics straight out of the box.  :tdown

Wow, g.s.d, that sux. good call though :)

I popped off my Alt Prowl's mirrors OOTB, but I think a lot of folks have done that.

Also more busted than I figured - my $40 otherwise perfect G1 Swoop, his right bot arm had sheared off (guess I didn't check him hard enough).

A year later, he plummeted from my shelf, and lost his beast head. :(

Other broken bots -

BM Hammerstrike - broke one of his bot... thumbs? (clear orange)

BM Hammerstrike - then he broke his shoulder socket...:(

Armada Dark Sonar - leg broke at the knee

Armada Skyblast - one of the combining pegs sheared off in Payload

TM1 Megatron - right arm/shoulder panel broke off

TM1 Megatron - same spot, happened again, new copy

I think that's about it, not counting the ones that were broke when I got them (a beheaded G1 Blurr, with head).  Not bad for 625 bots.

Wow, g.s.d, that sux. good call though :)

So long as the soundbox itself isn't damaged, it can probably be fixed - shipping it across the Atlantic for a return isn't an option....

Either way, I've still been very lucky over the years.

Hope you can get it fixed.

Do note that not only the button on his shoulder triggers a sound but also rasing him arms upwards does. Raising the sword arm will also trigger a light in his eyes.

And perhaps you should try another set of a batteries. I think I had that problem once too, batteries did not work so I tried different ones and they worked.

I have more damaged bots but most of those are from my G1 collection which are pretty dinged up.
