Cybertron Thundercracker the character

Recommended Posts

That's not thundercracker.... I sorry to say this... but it isn't! in both shows he acts more like QuickStrike from Beast Wars then he does Thundercracker...

Its the same voice style and voice actor as Quickstrike, even in the mannerisms on the show...

So, in my personal opinion, that figure regardless who agrees with me or not that's Quickstrike!

So I guess that's another repaint of Starscream to make..

See Customs and kitbashing forum for the topic on the seekers..

Now discussions on that theory!

It's *A*  Thundercracker.  It's not *THE* Thundercracker.

Theres  been at least 1500 Transformers over the last 20 years, some repetition is inevitable.

^i agree

hes clearly not g1 TC but realy was G1 TC all that? he had a few lines in the cartoon and he sounded rather generic

now Cybertron TC at least has character

That's not the same voice actor as Quickstrike. If it is, he's lost his touch. The original Thundercracker Didn't have a personality. The C Thundercracker is way more Rememberable and Likable. Maybe Energon has messed with my memory but Cybertron is the first series in 4 yrs where almost all the characters have definite personalities.

I watched Cybertron for the first time on that DVd that came with Blurr, and you know the show really isn't bad at all.  It's not great, and I would even go so far to say that Beast Machines is a better show, but as far as the Japanese TF shows go post BM, it's the best so far.  I actually kind of feel liek the first couple of seasons of G1. And the Transformation scenes aren't Sailor-Moonish as much as Energon.  In fact I think Jetfire actually got hit in the middle of his Transformation and couldn't complete it, like they used to do on Beast Wars that was so good.

But yeah when I saw Thundercracker I thought the exact same thing.  It's Quickstrike!  Thundercracker was my favorite of the planes when I was a kid, figurewise, but on the show he did nothing.  I liked to pretend that he was one of the TFs that got changed to Scourage or Cyclonus to make him more powerful.

Trust me, if you like the episode Hidden, you need to watch the rest of the series. Hidden is a good introductory episode but the later episodes are way better and more exciting. The Action and Translated Dialog makes the past few series look retarded. It's ashame, but the last few shows have been so bad, that I find myself amazed while watching stuff on Cybertron show that should just be normal accurances on a TV show. Stuff like the dialog actually being funny and making sense. Then all the references they make isn't just thrown in, you can tell someone did their homework when translating.

if it makes you feel better i think 98% of the fandom belive hes scourge and not just one of the sweeps and im pritty sure that goes the same for sky warp and cyclonus

I dunno about that. I watched on episode on tv awhile back before Cyb left Cartoon Network, and Prime was in this elevator. He said the most inane thing I've ever heard. "There should really be a windmill in here, or something." I was like  :eek That doesn't make sense! How long have you been leader?

the full line was there should be window in here... after that was the wise crack of "first floor- housewares!"

Quikstrike is voiced by Colin Murdock, Thundercracker is voiced by Mark Oliver. Nowhere near the same person.

And if his name was Quickstrike he wouldn't be able to come up with all of those cool names for his later Ignition attacks......
