KO Devastator

Recommended Posts

So I was passing by the Dollarama and I walked by their "toys" section. (For those who don't have this in their area, it's a dollar store where everything is under $1CDN.  They have good stuff there; I get a lot of chocolate bars and candy and random gift-wraps and stuff there).

Now, their toys section consists mainly of plastic guns, swords, cars of really cheap quality.  I look closer and I see this:

A KO Devastator!   I quickly and discretely snapped a shot with my cellphone.  I looked at whatever's on the hooks, and all 6 of Devastator's parts are there.  They are obviously the wrong color (Duh! ) and the plastic looks pretty darn cheap.  But they're $1CDN each!

I'm wondering if I should get them on the way home from work...  What do you guys think?

Sweet....I got those about 3 years ago this time of year at Walgreens(drugstore) in the US. THey are pretty neat and I like the colors!

Haven't seen these before.  I recently got a KO-mini Devastator at a Tuesday Morning store.  The plastic quality is not too bad but the stickers are all over the place and he is in his G1 'constructicon green' colors.

Not a bad set for the price and I prefer these mini KOs over the original scale yellow KOs I got at Big Lots over a year ago for my son.  The plastic quality was a bit inferior and it had some mold issues.

I saw them at Nat'l Wholesale Distributors, in G2 Yellow, 2 for a buck.  They also had the limbs of Superion and Bruticus, 2 for a buck.  They also had mucho KO Deluxe Insecticons, including ones that didn't originally exist as TFs, for a buck a piece...

If you don't have any other form of a devastator, I say get them.  Just don't be surprised if they break during transformations.

Fan Fic:  Devestated Devestators.

Toy collection comes to life, and all the transformer start to mingle.  The G1 constructicons wander around till they find the yellow and orange G2 sets arguing between them selves which was better.  Then, along comes the yellow and gray UK constructicons, the orange set yells HA!  There's 2 lame yellow sets, and we are rare!  The yellow UK constructicons say, OH YEA, we are British!  We RULE!

So then the Yellow G2 team merges into Devestator and looks down at the UK set, unable to merge since they were not sold with those parts and says they SUCK.  Orange merges as well, and is smacked around by the original Green...then walks in the rainbo colored faker.  With its lame stickers, and odd colors.  The Transformer teams stop arguing and start laughing and pointing at this cheap faker...Rainbo Bright designed this set up, ha ha ha...then the Diaclone sets walk in...also Multicolored...

I like that set very much. The colours are a little odd but the set is very well done for what it is. At $6 who cares anyway? That is very cheap and if you can't afford $6 to buy something odd then why would you be in this hobby anyway?

I got mine as the deluxe box set about 6 years ago. Quality could have been better back then but I doubt it.

Spencer.

my dollar store has them also 2 per card $2.00 a card but not all the combiner parts :9

how is the quality? but i wanna say, i dislike this mold
