I actually sorta like the colors on those KOs.  Not bad, I might buy them if I saw them.

Get him for your devastator clone army of knockoffs. I think this is about the 15th version I have seen of him.

So I picked up a set for myself this morning (and a set for fellow TFan Cliffjumper69).

Gonna open him up later when I get home from work.  Will post pictures then.  ;)

:tfdance

wa..ooo!nice pic!

is that the truth?where did you get it?

wow, got it about 3 years ago...seems the european ko version

A local Redapple had those in original green/purple and though parts/weapons were incuded the parts needed to form Devastator were not.

No matter I was already conned long ago into buying a set off Ebay a while back. The best part in terms of quality was his purple gun.  :tflaugh Putting him together however is like stacking cards where half if not all the pieces don't fit properly/ :tfmad

Whooohooo...

As I said I would, here are pictures of the "Rainbow Bright Devastator" (thanks to Backfire for the name!).  Fun fun.

Pictures from the front:

Well, as expected, the plastic feels very cheap, and is the wrong color.  There are also many rough edges and seams (Hey!  My Alt Prowl is like this too!).  The stickers are complete BS to top it off.  Most of the joints are pretty damn flimsy, and fitting all 6 parts together to form Rainbow Bright Devastator is a challenge in itself.

Conclusion: It holds together surprisingly better than I thought for a $6 hunk of cheap plastic.  What I think I'll do with it is repaint the whole thing (either in original G1, or in gold/silver/etc) and glue all the pieces together on a base/stand to form a statue of sorts.  Sure, it destroys the purpose of a "Transformer," but hey, at least he'll be a bit more appealing to the eyes, and he won't fall apart by me breathing on it.

Note that if anyone else around here wants a set of these, I could probably hook 'em up, depending on the availability of each part.  PM me if interested and I'll see what I can do, but I doubt I'll get many requests.  ;)

I'm actually thinking of doing the same thing with my knockoff. It's alreagy in G1 colours and is decent enough for displaying but as you said flimsy as hell. I've had him set up in the past but accidentally bump him and he crumbles. Pain in the ass to rebuild.

Reguarding the pics.  :eek  :eek  :eek blinded.
