you could stick a rocket up Optimus' tailpipe, and he still won't be faster.

HE'S A BIG FRICKIN TRUCK FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!!!

He's got a jet mode! He can't be too slow, or he'd never get off the ground!

I think you think too much.

[Harvey Birdman] I'll take the case! [/Harvey Birdman]

That does suck, man. Who cares if you're over qualified? You still need a job.

BTW, if your going by force chips, Sonic Bomber is actually cybertron, not earth, so Earth is left out too.

Ah, no lost. It's not like Earth is a real planet like Beast Planet or Cybertron.

The simple answer (as far as the GF show goes):

It wasn't needed on Speedia. The only way to attain the Speedia Planet Force was to win the race championship. Thus it was left to Hotshot, the fastest of the bots.

All the other times that he combines, it's because it's needed, and he only does it in robot mode. Speedia's race was primarily done in alt mode. And when he teamed up with Liger Jack, both of them were surprised. Neither had ever even heard of anything like that being possible before. Then for some reason he and Sonic Bomber were able to do it straight way with no hassles against Super Starscream.... :redface

It makes you wonder if any of them were paying attention during Energon. It's like video games where the previous games gave you powerups. What did you do with the powerups?

"Alright X, it's time to head out and destroy this next group of 8 or so Mavericks. It should be a piece of cake with the armor you acquired the last time around."

"Um, well, ya see. . . "

"Don't tell me you lost them again."

"Well, it goes like this. Alia was having a strip poker night, and since I normally don't wear any clothes, I had to wear SOMETHING."

"Alia has your armor?"

"Yeah, apparently I'm really bad at poker. Who'da thunk it?"

Loophole/offscreen dialouge that went something like this....

"So..... AS it turns out I can combine with Liger Jack. He can turn into a hyper powered arm."

"Well, that's Powerglideing weird."

"it felt.... great. wonderful. I've enver felt anything like it. Maybe we can combine."

"Get the hell away from me, you sick bastard!"

"Wait, my love! if we don't combine, we can never be together!"

>.>

i guess that's why Optimus is wearing Sonic Bomber's clothes in the morning....
