Your Most Dangerous Toy Hunt.

Recommended Posts

Oh it's true!!! The SHAME of it all! Is definitly the most dangerous part!!  Sometimes I wait until there isn't anyone in the isle, because a 26 year old man shouldn't be buiying that many Tfs if he doesn't have kids. Then I go home and cry myself to sleep in my huge pillow.

:eek You TOO?!

:schin Where might I find one of these "huge pillows" to cry in?

don't worry.  At least a 26 year old might have a kid at home that he's going to surprise.  20 year olds don't have that excuse :redface

I know a 20 yr old with a 5 yr old. I see that alot around here.

Nearly hit a dead dog on the way home from a most disappointing hunt tonight...

I have had problems when driving back home from the local mall when it's raining. There's this one damn spot that is allway slick and almost every time I hydroplane on it, not fun.

:schin Hmm... most dangerous thing I can think of while hunting for something besides the almost constant fist fights or occasional knife slashes/gunshots while tracking a criminal? There's really not much else that I can call "hazardous' to my health after all that.

But you meant toys or other items considered "collectibles", yes? Then as far as I can recall there was an incident where I slid my old Ducati off the side of a highway because of "Black Ice" in WA. after picking up a Mini-Con two pack on my way home from work. Luckily I had on a large leather jacket and steel sheathed boots/knee guards, landed in a soft mound of new snow and wasn't run over by the idiot driver who caused me to wreck in the first place.

To this day when I see Gunbarrel, Thunderwing and Terradive sitting on my toy shelf it seems like they're looking at me & saying "Dude, that was close!"

Hunts always seem to go relatively well for me.. atleast so far. <_< >_> <_< >_>

One day, right after leaving the house on a toy hunt, it started pouring like crazy. Visibility sucked but that's usually no problem for me. I was behind this car and suddenly it wildly veered off to the left, but before I could see what he was steering away from it was too late, it was a rather large boulder in the road and I ran right over it.

The thing jarred the whole car pretty good and then I noticed some weird noises coming from under the hood. I went to hit the brakes but they didn't work  :eek and to make it worse the gas pedal was jammed so I wasn't slowing down and couldn't stop.  :eek2

In a panic, I put on the most amazing display of evasive driving that anyone could ever do. Although in the process, I ran over 2 squirrels and a rabbit and several blocks later I hit a group of penguins, which I later came to find out were actually nuns.  :guh

Eventually my right tire blew out sending me into an uncontrollable spinout and I crashed through the front of a building where inside there was a meeting of a secret cannibal society going on.  :nuts The police arrived just in time to save me from becoming the surprise main course.

But as luck would have it, the nuns actually turned out to be a band of escaped bank robbers, the squirrels and the rabbit were their accomplices and the FBI had been trying to find the new place where the cannibals were having their meetings. So I was given a medal and now that road this all happened on is named after me!

:mwahaha

only dangerous thing for me is shame at the moment i have to make sure that no one i know is around when i check or buy TFS

...but, but - where was the Aryan Brotherhood? You can't have danger without the Aryan Brotherhood.

Brilliant story.  :thumb

I think the cannibals ate the aryans. You know how much they like their white meat.  :tflaugh
