All we need now is Megatron holding a pistol version of himself.. :lol

Seriously though, half the fun of G1 is looking at all the weird inconsistancies. You certainly don't get that on TV these days.. espically in such magnitude.

My favorite mistakes are when you see one bot speaking with another's voice.

For instance, Starscream will occassionally talk with Thundercracker's voice.

Or Bumblebee with Optimus Prime's. Ironhide has thrown his voice for Ratchet, I believe.

Sure, there are a lot of weird things, and many things that wouldn't fly today(Dinobot Island, part 1, I believe, Spike and Bumblebee get a building toppled on top of them, and then they're rescued, Bumblebee is on his knees behind Spike while Spike is on his knees.  :tfhuh ), but G1 is what started our love, and what has kept it going through travesties such as Armada, RiD, and even constant infestations of little brats.

At least Spike and his Dad were good for SOMETHING.

So I think we should all take a moment to appreciate all that was G1.

And also to ponder why TF's would need special chips for their "Powers". A cookie to the poster who guesses what I'm talking about.

One of the most interesting mistakes (and I think it may not be mistakes but just plain laziness) which I've found out recently.  And that is that the episode (may be the first one) where they show all the TFs on Cybertron before arriving on earth.  They showed the TFs transforming into their cyberton alt modes.  But in bot mode, they had looked like their earth mode form (i.e had their respective earth mode kibbles).  But again, probably just laziness where the animators didn't want to come up with what the TFs would like like in their cyberton bot modes.  Either that or Hasbro wanted them to still be recognizable in their bot modes so that kids don't get confused.  Kids can say, "cool, that's wheeljack and he transform into that boxy car thing" instead of "who is that transforming into that boxy car thing?".  Truth be told, I didn't even noticed that laziness as a kid (either that or I didn't care).

Heh, yeah, I remember those.  And you know, back then I also remember not really caring much about it.  I remember thinking to myself, "hmm...that was Prime's voice but bumblebee's lips were moving" and then didn't give it a second thought.  Now, it's like, the horror, OMG G1 cartoon sucks.  Well, I don't say that but I know quite a few people do.

I hated these errors since I was 6yrs old. It made the less enjoyable. I truely hated that the seekers didn't get enough individual attention as is but every time Skywarp is supposed to be doing something cool and was colored as Starscream, that sucked. I have always wonder why this was that they got away with all the mistakes. The Garfield cartoon was another toon with major errors.

If it wasn't for errors, we wouldn't have some of the E-hobby recolours!

By far the best voice-over mistake was the one where Optimus Prime shouts: "Die Autobots!" or something like that in MTMTE.

Cool, love G1's errors.
