some of my friends don't get it, but I don't care. Some of them were actually impressed by my Palisades Optimus statue and my 20th anniversary Prime. My parents don't seem to mind much. I have all my Optimuses set up standing in a group, and my mom thinks it looks pretty cool. And I know it's been said a million times, but who cares what others think as long as you enjoy it. And if they're jerks about it, you could just throw their hobbies that you don't understand back in their faces. Like when I made fun of my friends interest in David Bowie.

what would you do if someone made fun of the g1 series cause a friend of mine starwars fan critized the story by saying"just some robots from a planet that does'nt exist flying to earth sacasticly yelling WOW WHAT A THRILLING STORY!!!"

i would beat the living !@#( out of him for that insult but i could'nt punch him only if a was very angry after that i walked out did'nt talk to him for a month after that what would you do?

:wtf Wouldn't it be cool if Takara and George Lucas teamed up (far, far away) and came out with TF's from Star Wars? Slave 1 Starscream, Star Destroyer Megatron, and Death Star Unicron? I LOVE Star Wars and as a kid would play with both...it was fun blowing up Soundwave with my B-wing. F'em too.

My wife doesn't really understand it, but every birthday or Christmas there's always a TF DVD or expensive TF piece for me. Somehow she always knows!Friends are impressed though! Most of them had a few back in the day.

My girlfriend doesn't care that I collect, my friends sure like to touch my collection, and my parents think I am wasting my money (even though I already have college half paid for and I'm only a freshman.) I find it odd that my dad does not understand, as he has been known to waste upwards of 100 dollars a month on slot cars on eBay. Whatever.

My gf does complain once in a while, but she does understand it is a hobby of mine. There just is a limit on how much time and money I spend on the hobby. It is great to have some interest that keeps you from going out and doing bad stuff. And transforming some toys clears my head after studiyng.
