When Beast Wars was sold in The Netherlands I visited the store once and in a big bin full of toys there was a BW Polar Claw for 10 Guilders which is $5 (give or take).

 

This was before I started collecting again but I did watch the show. I picked him up intending to buy him but never did because there was a line before the cash register. Now of course I wish I had and I am still kicking myself for it.  :tfsad

 

And just last year I lost an auction on the German eBay site for Overlord at 90 Euro. I was outbid in the last few seconds. I sniped someone else but was sniped as well. And the most annoying thing is that the person who sniped me is was soon selling the Overlord for a much higer price.  :grump

 

That is about it but if I think of anything more I will let you know.

Only one i can think of is this:

 

When Beast Wars finally came out here in Spring '98, The first time i saw them, there was a Wolfang on the shelf.

 

I didn't have enough $$$ on me to buy that and Optimus Primal...  So, I bought Optimus Primal.  Little did i know that Wolfang was shipped to Europe in VERY VERY short supply.

 

I never saw Wolfang in the shops again apart from that one time. It bugged me for a long long time afterwards.

not taking better advantage of the reissues, i skipped all of the first wave :redface

1. not kicking and screaming as a child the first and only time i saw g1 hotrod in a store with my mother.

2. missing out on basically the first wave of bw due to the fact that i didnt even know they were tfs. dinobot was the only one i pursued endlessly to aquire when i realized what they were.

3. not getting all the tru reissues i saw. i have the first 2 waves and bits and pieces of the rest. but seeing as how the first two waves had prime and pm prime (the ones ive never seen again) im not to worried on trying to catch up. edit: especially sideswipe know that i know hes very rare in the states and being in canada i could have gotten hmi rather easily.

wow i have a long list i kept putting back buying the powermaster optimus reissue cuz they had so many then one day poofff thier all gone

 

also BW i only got 3 when i was a kid scorpinok dinobot and the armadillo guy

 

also RiD i missed out on the train guys cuz i wanted to buy all 3 at once then one day they were all gone
