So far, my favorite is plain ol' Cybertron Prime in super mode.

I woulda said Omega Prime(RID) but Cybertron Prime so far blows everything else out the water as far as coolness. Was Ultra Magnus included because the suit fits Prime or do you mean the actual Ultra Magnus charater?

I like Sonic Convoy.  He has swords.  Swords are cool.  So if you have one, you're cool.  End of story.

Powermaster Prime -- the original!! :P Back before super mode Primes were something people rolled their eyes at. The whole idea of a super large ultra-Prime was totally sweet, and it was great how they designed the figure to look like an augmented Prime -- more doodads on his helmet, his smokestacks became dual-cannon blasters, he had four windows across his chest, etc. Cybertron Prime is fun, but he looks like a Gundam or a Megazord, not a Transformer.

Alright, I voted for RiD Prime super mode.  Here's my reasoning:

 

Magnus and PM Prime were fine for their era, but they just can't stand up to the more recent versions.

 

Without Overload, Armada Superdress had a big, gaping, unavoidable hole in his back.  He had no articulation below his shoulders, and often times his dress falls off when lifted.  And while I think the torso and shoulders of the toy look pretty damn good, the rest of it is ugly as hell.

 

Jet Convoy has much better looking legs than Superdress, and the chest-piece is OK (though it covers up the only good-looking part of Superdress Prime), but overall it still ends up with a poorly articulated robot, and without Overload the hole in the back is still there - though he is huge. 

 

With Overload the toy is better than without, but it's still a bad toy.

 

E. Prime just doesn't appeal to me at all.  Don't get me wrong, it's a drastic improvement over non-super E. Prime, but it just doesn't seem like an armored form, and as the drones don't transform, it's not a gestalt either.  He's OK I guess, but nowhere near a couple of the other Super Primes.

 

Wing Convoy is pretty good, but nothing that great, and is made up of two poor toys.

 

Kitty arm Prime is just stupid.

 

Sonic Convoy isn't bad, but the plane (can't remember the name) really doesn't make Convoy any more imposing than he already is, he's basically just a brute-pack.  Also, and this is only my preference, but when separate individuals combine I like to think of it as a gestalt.  With a gestalt, at least the way I see it, the component individuals are submerged and a new combined personality takes place.  The physical manifestation of this is a new head.  The Prime 'gestalts' of the Armadaverse have lacked this new head.  Also, it's just not as good as Omega Prime.

 

So that leaves RiD Super Prime, Omega Prime and Cybertron Super Prime. 

 

I'll start with Omega Prime.  Excellent gestalt (has the new head), perfectly appropriate pairing, excellent articulation, excellent size, one of the best looking robots ever, but... too damn heavy for the midsection to properly support.  That's it, the combo's only fault.  And it's certainly better than any of the other Prime 'gestalts'.

 

Then there were two.  RiD Prime and Cybertron Prime; two toys that are very similar in many ways, and both excellent.  But we're only dealing with the supermodes, so I'm giving it to RiD.  Reason 1 - The size increase from regular Prime is more significant (in regular mode Cyb Prime is the larger and more hulking of the two, in combined mode - aside from the wingspan - I'd view RiD Prime as the more imposing, especially in the arm department).  Reason 2 - The actual physical change occuring between regular modes is FAR more significant with RiD.  Cyb Prime doesn't have a battle suit, he's got a pair of lifts and a brute pack.  RiD Prime has the same 'lifts', but he actually has full body armor, larger arms and hands, his shoulders widen, his torso extends and he has a different head - which only matters because Cyb Prime lacks a helmet or anything other than a deployed faceplate to protect his head.

 

Those really are it as far why I prefer RiD Prime's super mode over Cyb Prime's super mode.

In terms of stuff I'd actually like to play with nowadays, I'd say RiD Prime hands down. But PM Prime owns me by the power of nostalgia...

pm prime...simply b/c hes the original and man that arsenal 2 dual blaster smokestack 2 handcannon and the trailer hitch is a gun....and then u add in the factor of the apex/god armor....cmon what prime could step to that anime wise excluding the brick of a toy
