Jet Convoy combined with Overload (forget what they call him)

I like Sonic Convoy.  He has swords.  Swords are cool.  So if you have one, you're cool.  End of story.

Swords make figures cool. Why was G1 Grimlock such an awesome brute? SWORD. Why was Armada, Energon and Cybertron Starscream all cool? SWORD(s). Why was RID Scourge so freakin' cool? SWORD. What would have made Energon Megatron better? A handle for his SWORD. What would have made RID Omega Prime even better? That Japanese exclusive SWORD.

 

In a world like Transformers where everyone and their grandmother (the toaster) has a gun, SWORDS are what makes a Transformer truly awesome.

Kitty arm Prime!  Love this mode and I think it combines the best of all worlds between the Beast Wars Transformers and G-1.  Excellent toy!  Can't wait to find Leobreaker.

Powermaster Prime -- the original!! :P Back before super mode Primes were something people rolled their eyes at. The whole idea of a super large ultra-Prime was totally sweet, and it was great how they designed the figure to look like an augmented Prime -- more doodads on his helmet, his smokestacks became dual-cannon blasters, he had four windows across his chest, etc. Cybertron Prime is fun, but he looks like a Gundam or a Megazord, not a Transformer.

PM Prime was special beacuse he managed to look a total badass. He looked powerfull, he was powerfull and kicked every con's butt.  All those new prime's supermodes have failed at that. Armada Prime looked powerfull but Megs was more powerfull.  Energon Prime, well he is a TF megazord.  Cybetron Prime looks cool but Megs still kicks his butt. 

Powermaster Prime! Not only did you finally get a Prime that combined with his trailer (no extra bits hanging around), but it was the first Transformer with hair-curlers!

In terms of stuff I'd actually like to play with nowadays, I'd say RiD Prime hands down. But PM Prime owns me by the power of nostalgia...

PM Prime was My first Prime. I was totally disappointed when my Grandma told me she got me Optimus Prime for Xmas I opened the box and it was PM Prime. It was cool to form his super mode and mess around with HiQ but he just felt like a cheap KO Prime. All plastic and stickers that wore out quicker MC Hammer's money. I was thinking, Maybe he atleast transforms like the old prime ANNNK! I'm sitting there like, Okay. Why does he have windows on his chest if the windshields on his back? Makes him more cartoon accurate but now he has windows on his back. His legs.......So mad they were connected. Arms......So he can bend his elbows and the butt of his gun makes him only able to aim at Decepticons feet :wtf . His head, 2 days after owning him, Im putting tissue in his neck cavity to keep his head from falling back down. HiQ, HiQ..Had to learn quick how to transform this Brick with out the little guy. Was gone in 2 days after my tissue in the neck trick.

 

Super Mode. I'm looking at the catalog and looking at my bot and thinking, Hey! the bot on the pic has retractable hands and working elbow WTF. All this guy has is stubby arms and a Gigantic head, with no neck articulation. I hate to sound so mean but This was back when I used to play with my toys. Make them have battles, talk to each other and act out scenarios.  Not Play with them like I do now, Pose em put em on the shelf and sit there with bat saying, Don't Touch EM! You'll break em! As a kid I found all these issues I mentioned so frustrating. That's why I wonder why people my age and up are so forgiving to 80's toys. They were fun since it was all we had but man they pissed me off at the same time.

I feel the same way about PMOP.  I remember I wanted Prime & my mom said I had to save my own money for him.  When I got to the store they just had PMP & can remember looking at the box thinking, wow he's got to be better than the original cuz he gets big & he gots a little PM robot.  I thought PMs TMs & HMs were the bomb.  When I got him home & opened him I was totally disappointed.  I was like whare the fu*k is roller. I wanted to take it back , but chose to love it just cuz this was my only chance to own a Prime..........or so I thought. :mwahaha
