Ok, Spider-Man 2 compared to Ultimate Spider-man makes Spider-Man 2 look like the red-headed stepchild someone just neglected to beat. HA!

control scheme was far better. double jumps are ghey. buying upgrades far better than just getting them through prgress.

besides... ultimate spidey wasnt a movie game, and if you consider those things improvements, that because they already had something proven to work well to expand upon. and sm2 was amazing at the time. i still preffer it to ult sm.

Alright, I'll grant you that. FOR IT'S TIME, Spider-Man 2 was something impressive. But I hated the ragdoll system. Spider-Man would get hit, and then he'd flop around in an in-human manner, not to mention that he would take forever to get back up. That ALONE killed the game for me, coupled with the blatant disregard for what happened in the actual movie.

so you wanted the game to have only doc oc? of course it couldnt fallow the movie in every aspect. and i LOVED the mysterio fights.

I hate the unicron fight. The flight controls SUCK.

 

I've played any number of flight sims over the years and I can say quite confidently that I can keep up with the very best. Whatever deranged crack-addled designwork went into the flight control for that mode should be banned.

 

Most of the rest of the game I enjoyed, with the obvious lack of a few things I suggested earlier.
