A question about his mouth.  Is it in a growl? or is that just his bottom mouth plate as in the show.  I'm guess growl....

Can't believe they are making us dish for these figures AGAIN. I know I will be buying the figures just for the pieces and then selling off the figures. How many of these guys do you need?

They're re-issues, just like the G1 re-issues. No-one's making you buy them, it's a great oppurtunity for those who didn't get them\sold them to get them again, and there's a bonus thrown in with each toy of the Transmutate figure and DVD. Also, they have some changes made to them that distinguish them from the originals.

 

And yet, somehow, despite how great this idea is to celebrate the BW 10th anniversary, you complain.

How can you call it is reissue? it is not even close to a reissue, it is a repaint. Very different. There is no need to reissue a toy that is just barely 10 years old. These figures are still very easy to find in loose or carded condition. Besides, it and the others have been repainted already in the fox kids line as well. The reason they added the bonus is for those who already have multiple versions of these toys will still be compelled to buy them for the extra that they were not offered first time around.

I could give you like a million examples where the toy looks better, especially in G1 where they removed just about every possible detail from the characters. I also like the BM toys better than the show versions.

What about the Optimus Primal and Megatron molds? Are they coming with Transmutate parts or are they just new molds with chip gimmicks?
