The subtile references seem okay, cause it doesn't infringe completly on copyright, but there was an episode of Robot chicken that was awesome, but man it was crazy with basically a complete mock-up of a Transformer episode dealing with prostate cancer, it seems like Hasbro would be all over them.

(snip)

Do you think they get clearance for that. or just do it and not care?

Since it's "satire" they're OK - satire is somewhat of a grey-area when it comes to copyrights/trademarks, otherwise stuff like Saturday Night Live and Mad Magazine wouldn't be possible.

here is the ep of Robot Chicken with Optimus having Prostate Cancer

believe it or not ive actually seen that ep. of smackdown with that poster in the background! If u want to go back to the movie references of tf's, we already had that almost a week ago

Anyone remember the show "Undergrads"?

There was one episode that involved them taking part in some cross-school competition.....anyways near the end they end up changing the school mascot from Tekerson donkeys to Tekerson decepticons, and its a donkey dressed up like Megatron....lol pretty funny :)

anyone got a pic of this?

So I take it I'm the only one who thinks that show (well, besides the fact that they have a chorus of chickens singing the ORIGINAL Dawn of the Dead mall song) along with Drawn Together should be herded off a cliff by Walt Disney employees like lemmings?

there was also an ep of the fresh prince of belair where they featured beast wars toys.

and this was featured on a ep of wwe raw i think last year(sorry for bad quality):

lol i dont know if this has been posted...and its not really TF's but still pretty funny...

Last week's family guy featured Cobra Commander as the head of the FCC media censoring corporation

"Sir what should we do?"

CC: "Follow my lead!" (hops into a Cobra jetpack and blasts through the roof) :):):)

Starscream/Cobra Commander eh...close enuf!!  :rofl

lol Family Guy had a alot of instances where they could have included more TF's jokes (as of late there have been alot of jokes on 80's cartoons, namely HE-MAN and GI JOE, as well as the two TF's references)

One instance that sticks in my mind was a part where, i believe peter was fighting or having an argument and he ended up yelling "RETREAT!" and running off

All i could think of was that it would have been absolutely hilarious if Peter had yelled "Retreat!", jumped into the air and flown off, followed by starscream, thundercracker, skywarp, and soundwave

Would be a great episode....and i'm sure that there will be at least another transformers reference in the show b4 the season ends, as the creator is a fan.
