Will Armada get finished? DVD wise

Recommended Posts

Methinks an e-mail bombardment to rhino has to be organized! it's almost a YEAR and no sighn! :redface

with the delay on 'BEAST MACHINES' you'd think they'd chuck us an ARMADA bone :wtf

Rhino no longer owns the Armada rights. Paramount has them.

Still, why the delay?

The first box sold well I would think so just release it. Why only 4 DVD's per series like they did for Energon?

I would buy it simply because it is still Transformers even though the show left a lot to be desired. And I know a lot of other fans would so it would be profitable release. Why deprive yourself of profit?  :wtf

Releasing such shows would be my first priority. Especially considering what is released on DVD at the moment. It seems as if every tv show ever made is released on DVD. Including the really crappy ones.

rid the box set came out ages ago

You must be referring to the UK release of RID.  The U.S./Canada

does not have an official release for the region.

anyone know were to find them? i scoured ebay and couldnt find them. if anyone knows a online store that has them or something that would be geatly appreciated.

Are you absalutely sure of this?, I know 'Paramount' sighned on with Energon but the Armada series was under rhino, and I dont see a 'throw together' Armada dvd from paramount as it would have tested the market for any Energon realease

But then again the Beast machines series was created for FOX KIDS but it's not coming out on FOX dvd !

The BIG question is what are the facts about the sighnover deal and who has the licence for it??? :tfhuh

stupid legal... everything.... ALL WE WANT IS TO WATCH SOME CARTOONS!

It was announced at botcon.

-Paramount had DVD rights to Armada, Energon, and Cybertron. No box set plans.

http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/thread82743.html it's around the middle or so of the QA part of the first post.

I dunno why Paramount doesn't have plans for a box set. I guess they feel that it wouldn't sell well enough.

I hope so. I dropped the $$$ for uber lame part 1, so I really do want the PAYOFF please KTHX

If they had the rights for ARMADA then how in the HELL did rhino bring out the first box set ?!!?  :wtf

As I said before WE NEED TO KNOW THE SPECIFICS OF THE DEAL  :tfmad

The DEAL was struck MID SEASON, meaning Rhino may still be in the loop for Armada !

I don't want "it was said" or "it was rumored" I WANT THE SPECIFICS!

After all Rhino may still be able to bring out the box set if Paramount does not

I just bought the first Armada set for roughly 50 CND and would so hate to buy it again under a different lable. Rhino did fine as is releasing Armada and I see no reason why they shouldn't be allowed to release the second half.

Personally I have no problem with Paramount releasing either Energon or Cybertron seeing as I don't have any intention whatsoever to get either. I would however have no objection to buying a completed RID set. :thumb

right for anyone which wants the r.i.s eries on dvd go to play.com as they have it around $40's for the complete series. thats both dvds all you need is for the dvd players to play european dvds thats all on the region code also armada is there as well. for once i feel happy uk has got something before usa. as most times we have been left out on figures due to the stupid choices hasbro makes. believing they know best for the european markets.
