No wait.. seriously, I liked Beast Wars Scourge, just basically cause he had a G1 name, but it fit his beast mode perfectly, and his head was awesome, had a bit of an ass on him though...

Of my 80 GEE WUN autobots, i haveta say sandstorm is very underrrated. Blurr is a glorified minibot his transformation is very simple. also gotta put in for roadbuster.

sandstorm was from my childhood. you always love the ones you grew up with.

I thought I'd knock up a list of all the figs in my collection that I think deserve more recognition than they get. Here goes:

 

G1:

Powerglide - Arm articulation rocks for a Minibot.

Sludge - Under-rated as far as Dinobots go, the best one IMO.

 

Armada:

Hoist - One of the best figs from the line.

 

Energon:

Ironhide - The biggest shelfwarmer in history, but a cool toy anyway.

Omega Supreme - Looks awesome on my shelves.

Optimus Prime - I expected nothing from this fig. A nice suprise!

Skyblast - The best fig in its size range.

 

Alternators:

Prowl - Looked awful in the photos, now one of my faves.

 

Animorphs:

Ultra Visser 3 - Looks like something out of Aliens, 50p well spent!

 

WST:

Soundwave - I know he's popular. But I don't think anyone can put into words how AWESOME this lil' guy is!

 

E-Hobby:

Detritus (Hound re-paint) - Still going cheap on eBay (that's the only reason I bought him) but looks so much better than Hound it's unbelievable. (IMO).

 

Robot Masters:

Beast Convoy & Beast Megatron - Same as WST Soundwave. These 2 made me want to start collecting BW & RM's.

1. RID Megatron. Definitely one of the best transformers out there. I was pleasantly surprised by how cheap it is on ebay.

 

2. RID omega prime. Not sure why people hate it. It simply rocks.

 

3. Magnaboss. One of the best combiners out there.

 

4. Armada Red alert. Great car mode, better robot mode.

 

5. The new dinobots. I have an army of them now. Great Jurassic Park theme.

 

6. Archadis. He is well hated, yet I find him a nice toy. Good beast mode and a unique robot mode.

 

7. Piranacon. Pretty much forgotten until the universe seacons made headlines. Definitely one of the better G1 combiners.

BW - Tigerhawk

 

I don't know if it's necessarily underappreciated, but I never hear anybody talk about him, and he's got a kickass tranformation scheme, and imposing looking, highly posable beast and bot modes.

I think that Skids is already underappreciated. 

 

1.) I'm hearing "hood-chest" comments again.  I was thinking of that too, but for Skids, it's a totally appropriate homage. 

 

2.) He's a Scion. It isn't the world's worst vehicle, but a lot of people don't think it's the best looking.  But for some reason, it fits Skids perfectly.
