Binaltech Wild Rider/Black Widow - Still A Go!?

Recommended Posts

Ladies and gents, i give you Takara:  The kings of the flip-flop.

They don't know what to do what to do with this figure.

that's because they don't who the hell it is. is it suppose to be Megatron? Windcharger? a stunticon? maybe Takara should contact Hasbro and ask them who the f*** did they design this toy to be but i doubt they'll be much help.

i do like this guy but plz just release it all ready but i do wish they would Starscream the yellow and keep the name wild rider and not black widow

Legal reasons make rider anything unlikely becasue of Bandai's Kamen(?) Rider series.

Bandai and Takara don't 'get along'

idd think the name rider fell into the same catagory as jazz and hound and i dont think you can copy right part of a name

I like this mold and will pick up this guy when he/she comes out, just wish they would go ahead and do it.  Or maybe this will be the first binaltech decepticon to be part of the astric series.  Give him an evil girl to put in the driver seat, or a big hairy bull dike would work too.

Heh.

When was the last time you saw one of those in an anime?

I hope it's Black Widow. Blackarachnia is one of my favourite characters, and a Alternator fembot would be cool.

Yeah, but this needs some SERIOUS re-tooling to be even remotely passable as female...

But the S2000 mould is probably the one closest to a female look, and the shoulderpads are reminiscent of the TM2 Blackarachnia shoulderpads.

Whoever this ends up being, those bot mode pics have a definite "hey look I spent 5 minutes in photoshop" vibe to them :puke  At this point I really don't care who it is, seeing as Takara doesn't even know yet.  Knowing that this bot has been sitting there character-less for months doesn't really motivate me to make a purchase... the name is really just slapped on. :tdown

The corvette mold shows the most promise, IMHO.  Go to the kitbash forum here, and you'll see arcee's made from both.  I think the one made from the vette was the most convincing, whereas the one made from the S2000 looked like a bulldike!

I'll get it.
