Fortunately my Alt Prowl is near perfect... the only problem mine has is a snapped knee-joint peg, but I may have done that myself when I modded the legs to the G1-accurate style, and it doesn't affect anything at all because all the other connections keep everything where it belongs anyway.

oh man. i hope this doesnt happen to me

My uncoloured proto, dark grey proto and baby blue preproduction are all fine, sure this makes you feel better ;)

though seriously that does suck

So far I've been lucky not experience any such problems with any of my TFs. The closest though to a misassembly I've seen is Energon Shockblasts gun arm. In normal transfomation the Decepticon insignia kept reading upside down. Drove me to the point where I finally cracked it open with a screwdriver and flipped the whole thing upside down. Now it's perfect in both modes. :clap The only mispackaging error I've ever had is Energon Bulkhead. For some reason or other I got five missils instead of four. Ah well, one more is better than one less IMO. :tflaugh

I've never had a problem like that with a TF.

My Alt Prowl came with his legs on backwards.  :tdown

Even the box and instruction manual came with pics of the bot in this awkward transformation!

Luckily, I was able to fix this problem in under five minutes with just a screwdriver!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!  :clap I LOVE IT! I must say tho, you got lucky compared to me, I got mine from TRU, and the left leg was broken. The rod that held the knee on was broken, I went to 4, not 1, 2, 3, but 4 different TRU's, and finally was able to exchange him..... took me long enough..

Oh man, I don't know if I'd have the heart to return Prowl, assuming I ever find one in the first place.  Is it possible to mangle his left hand into a pseudo-righty?

Only misproduction I had so far is the rear wheels of Cybertron Gasket, but I believe all of the produced units of him have that problem. And of course I did correct it.
