If you need some inspiration for decals, have a look at this:

It's a UAZ469 Medical care Patrol JEEP scale model 1 43

from here.

Simple, but might make all the difference.

Or there's this:

Ratchet as a Jeep was a hard sell for me also, till I saw the graphics on that Cherokee.  That looks awesome.  You could always go with a mountain rescue theme, that would flow a lot better still.

Ok I've been discussing this with others as well as listening here, and it was clear that I needed at least red hands, so I got a suitable red and used an extra pair of swindle hands-  no fancy pictures this time though.  maybe later.

Plus Warewulf-  thanks for the effort with the pics-  I was thinking about simple red crosses on the doors, and a DIAL 911 on it anyways.  And sorry outrider, but I actually thought that the cherokee's deco was just so-so.  Too Armada Red alert if you ask me.

sweet... nice looking.

now where did you find this knock off?

uhm search for "white hound" on ebay.  There's a yellow version too.  They are just straight up Hound, jut in different colors.  Diecast and all.

pike

whoh! and it's the same quality as the BTs and everything?

dang... they're $50 shipped... i don't think so. I haven't spent $50 on a TF yet... not gonna start with a knock off.

Sweet! :eek I Gotta Find A White Hound. :tfgrin

Well you wouldnt have to keep the exact same design.  Hell, Im just a fan of blue and orange over white, that color scheme really pops nicely.  But the red hands look great on this, and if you start out with that, it wouldnt work out with the cherokee's paint scheme.  Still, this looks to turn out great, if that work on his head crest is any indication.

What exactly do you mean?  I just painted the crest, nothing more.  I like kitbashes that are simple.  My favorite are creative repaints to make you look at a figure differently.  Like how Prowl's head could become Ratchet with a change in the color of the crest.

pike

Like you said pike, simple and creative. It's something I could even do. I like it, nice job.
