Windcharger

 

Well, I can't say that this was my idea. When I saw the Binaltech guide I knew I had to make him. I didn't want another red bot, so I decided to go with Burgandy. Also, after looking at pics of WC from the cartoon, i decided to go with the reverse leg again. it allowed me to have the black which I think helps the black hood. I painted the hood black for two reasons. One, I had to do something to make him less like the other Stangs, and Two, it just looks bad ass. Or atleast IMO. I would have liked the gray to be darker, but it's the darkest spray I was able to find. I may go back and do some details on the abs and forearms.

I really should get back to work on my projects; I could have had Windcharger ready to do the minute Deceptichump's S2000 was in my hands. Glad to see burgundy does in fact look good on the figure, as well.

windcharger looks nice, a little burgandy from the body on the head to change some details might break up the grey of the head though

well, here is what i was looking at...

I think the paint scheme looks fine. At most the head could benefit from a light wash or some panel-lining with a pen.

 

It's not too far off from what I plotted down 8-9 months ago, though I'm sure I'll have to swipe your leg mod. :P

 

well i thought about adding some black, like the origanal dc head, but i like it the way it is. it works for me, so i don't see any need in changing it.

Besides, panel line detail doesn't look authentic on a Transformer..thats a Gundam/Macross deal...Transformers lose their personality when they're forced into that "model detail" habit.

But Macross ARE Transformers.
