Ultra sized leaders

Recommended Posts

I would love it if the leaders were scaled down so they looked like they were leaders for skill/intellegence, not just becuase they were the biggest badass.

while that may work for the autobots since they value knowledge and wisdom over brute strength, the opposite is true for the decepticons. Megatron has to be a big badass in order to force the other decepticons to follow his orders or else a stronger con could overthrow him. and then Optimus has to upgrade himself to match Megatron, hence the supermode.

besides, the leader class has the fewest toys in it next to the supreme class, so money requirements shouldn't be that bad.

Not sure if that's true or not. If anything, I think it's the other way around. Look at how Ratbat led the Decepticons in Megatron's absence with only his intelligence, while Grimlock practically used his strength to bully the Autobots around during his leadership.

Optimus Prime was not the only Autobot that upgrade his size to push Megatron/some Decepticon leader around. Fortress Maximus quadrupled his size in order to confront Scorpornok. To be honest, Autobot depends on brute strength (Omega Supreme, Grimlock and the Dinobots, et cetera) to push their agenda, while Decepticons use cunning and guile to achieve their ends (Starscream and Cyclonus.)

I always liked big robots. I think this Cybertron Prime is the best one so far (other than the 20th anv). I didnt  like armada prime.  Basically I like TFormers big and great quality

Bigger toys sell okay as long as the market's not flooded with them. Hasbro learned that lesson from Unicron, but there's still an annoying trend for some toys. For example, Energon Prime appears in every freakin' super assortment. Scorponok clogged the shelves because he is in every freakin' ultra assortment. Many shops were hesitant to get the waves with Quickstrike and Galvatron because they know that they have to put another shelf warmer just to get them, and it's not worth it sometimes.

If they did an alternators prime chances are he would be massive anyway...if they did him to sclae to the car-bots anyway. Trucks ARE pretty big anyway you know.

MP/20th Prime is essentially in-scale with the BT/Alts (he's a tad larger than 1:28th).

Take a look at BM Primal / Megs sometime. It's embarrassing.

Agreed.

Personally I am rather fond of Armada Prime. He looks bad ass and the auto Transform feature is really cool.

However, the smaller more posable version is also a very cool toy. They complement eachother well.

I (mostly) agree. The trailer sucked ass, because of that goofy auto transform feature, which also ruined the super mode.  However, the cab section rocked, limited poseability overlooked for the awesome detailing of the thing.  I ebayed the trailer, and kept the cab, and have all 3 versions of bendy prime just cuz it rocks.

IMHO, the bendy version should have been the size of the super version, with Jetfire and Overload still separate.

But in regards to size, I just wish they'd get the scale sort of consistent. I hate when they have all these deluxe sportscars alonside of semi trucks that have to fit the same package. Then adding insult to injury, you have basics like all the E Omnicons outside of Arcee that should have been deluxe to mega size, and Cliffjumper who is an Ultra. Infuriating! :tfmad

Tries, gets Starscream slapped by Primus, tries again.  Wouldn't say he takes over, but he definately becomes a good third party leader, so that you end up with three factions with people moving amoung them buy mid way into GF.

Starscream finally gets what he's always wanted: the power to kick Megatron's ass.

And stop complaining about having to pay $40 for a leader!  We have to pay between $80 and $100 AUD for them.  (Which at the moment is between $60 AND $75 USD.)

so, just because we're not getting as screwed as you, we shouldn't complain?

What's embarasing about them?
