I'm not sure about you... but I was reading my bible in my room when I happened to glance up at my Unicron poster, Thats when I noticed... Unicron look's a bit like saten! He has the same horns, same wings.... has anyone else noticed that...? personelly, I think Unicron is in cahutes with the Devil! Hate that guy!!! (I mean the devil, hate him, love Unicron,)

alls i can say is, girl put the bible down!! that thing will warp your brain!

 

one night you'll get drunk or something, come home, and you'll have devils and unicrons, or devils riding unicrons, chasing you all over your house! :eek

I've always thought of Primus and Unicron as God and Satan for the Transformers. Primus gives the transformers their sparks/lifeforce, God created us. Unicron wants to devour and destroy all of existance, the Devil wants to bring everyone down into hell with him, etc etc. Along the same analogy Optimus Prime would be Jesus Christ. The original figure was Prime, his tractor-trailer, and Roller, a perfect trinity like the Father/Son/Holy Ghost. Prime dies in the movie (by being shot/stapped repeatedly in the side just as Christ was stabbed in the side while on the cross) and then is resurrected in season 3, where as Jesus was resurrected 3 days later. And isn't the matrix as much a spiritual item as an actual artifact carried in a 'prime's' chest much like the holy sprit/God/Jesus resides in your heart? Optimus Prime is after all the idea of perfection in transformers. He's a paragon. Sorry if I sound preachy, it's just that I've thought a lot about this idea before. The analogy between Transformers mythology and Christian Theology is very real and apparent to me. It just goes to show you that you can find God in anything. Even in an awesome toy line from the 80's.

jesus was just a man. he tried to teach wisdom in a time where little existed. he wasn't the son of god, didn't perform miracles, didn't die for anyones sins, he was just a poor schmuck who got nailed to a cross!! get over it!!! :grr

I respect your beliefs as would most of the other religous folk in these boards. Calling someone's God a shmuck, however crosses a lot of bounderies and is rather rude. well sharkticonQueen, if you want to get technical, satan was a beautiful creature... he doesn't have horns, a tail... I guess he could though if he really wanted... but yes, unicron does look like a "typical depicted" satan...

Well before the fall he was beautiful. The Angel Of Light. Most beautiful of all angels. But he was arrogant and took a third of the angels with him.

 

As for evolution... theory that is constantly changing. Fact is Jesus did die. and He died for you madman. If you were the only person in the world He still would have done it. But to accept Him or not is your choice. God is a gentleman in that aspect. He respects us and has given us free will.

 

And about Unicron looking like the usual depicted "Satan", I've thought the same myself.
