I like the Energon Perceptor, but I prefer the Armada version. The minicons just seem to fit together better and have a more fluid look to the combined form. The Energon one is a great improvement but is still lacking some of the general goodness of the Armada one. I am thinking of picking up the universe sunstorm just so I can have another Armada gestault team. I think since Energons gimmick is combination that they need more minicon teams that combine like perceptor. And with them packaging them six to a box they could make them even bigger and maybe even do a homage to the Micromaster combiners.

Neither. Both look bad IMO and pretty flimsy. G1 Perceptor is so... much better.

looks wise i like energon Preceptor..toy wise, i like armada preceptor more

I don't own E Preceptor.. but I have Armada. I think ditchin the skateboard idea was a good move.. Gindor was the fluke in that team. So points in the E direction.. but it's not enough to make me rush out and grab it =P

 

Why did they call him Preceptor anyway? Makes no sense to me.

 

G1 Preceptor.. ya know I could never get his microscope to focus on anything.. everything was all blurry all the time. :tftongue In a battle though, I don't think G1 could touch the little bastard.. too small and too quick. Probably couldn't defeat G1 anyway, Mini-Preceptor would probably take off running.
