Which do you think is better: Energon or Armada Perceptor. Personally I like Energon. They rekindled him quite nicely in my opinion. :clap :thumb

Is he any good, i've been thinking about getting him but the last one kinda draws me away from the Energon one.

I really like Energon Perceptor. I don't have Armada to compare, though.

 

I'm seriously impressed that, despite being made of Minicons (although, to give them credit, they do seem to a bit on the large size as far as Minicons go), Perceptor outsizes all of the Omnicons to date. On the other hand, he's still a titch shorter than any of the Terrorcons (which is another cool, although unrelated detail. All the Omnicons are all the same height at the head, and all the Terrorcons thus far are also the same height, with Battle Ravage being just ever so slightly taller, with the Terrorcons all outsizing the Omnicons).

 

I really like the individual minicons, too. Sure, Sureshock and Grindor are kinda dumpy in robot mode, but I actually think they're kinda cute like that. And Highwire is just impressive, with a whopping 12 points of articulation on such a small frame. Pity his face isn't painted, though. Will have to fix that eventually.

 

The only thing that really bugs me is those stupid backwards elbows. Couldn't they design them so that they don't bend?

just reverse the arms and voila! note that when arms are reversed sureshock now turns into a 3 wheeler.

Gotta pick the Armada one. I don't know why, but I like him more. I am just not drawn to Energon Percepter in any way. Even the 4-wheeler looks really cool, the other two are not so great.

as a whole, Energon Perceptor is much much better...but the parts split...well...the Armada minicons I think were a bit better...

Armada Perceptor kicked Megatron's ass, remember... G1 Perceptor couldn't even catch the little bugger if his life depended on it.
