Wheelie had potential to be a much cooler character than he actually was.

Absolutely! Damn right, they did. Ever see Cabin Boy? Wheelie is Nathaniel. Some Cap'n Graybar of the TF universe said "We'll send him out to pick berries or something and then HAUL ASS!" Thats totally what happened.

 

As for Blaster rhyming, Blaster rhymed here and there, not all the freaking time. Besides, Blaster had a little hip-hop flavor and that ties in with a rhyme or two. Furthermore, Blaster contributed to the cause, he was an asset to the team. Not only that, he was straight up cool. He didnt get his ass caught in some stupid situation all the time requiring search and rescue.

 

The concept of a TF boy would have added a whole dimension to the storyline, it could have paved the way for some story looking for his parents, or something. Which in turn could have answered a lot of questions about TF reproduction methods, as there were obviously several. He could have been a lot of things. But instead he became the Jar-Jar of the TF world and for that the nuke burn thing would have been good. But taking an axe and physically smashing the living crap out of him until he pukes.. :tfpuke .. and then finishing him off once and for all is OH so much more satisfying...

I like wheelie. He's cute in that sissy way that only some girls can see :tfgrin . I like how he and Daniel were always getting in trouble. Now Stop picking on him!!! or you'll answer to my Sharkticon troops! :tfevil

Honestly, I ... don't hate him. I'm pretty much neutral to him. Of course, I've never really experienced him in his "full glory", seeing as I've only seen him in the Movie. The only post-movie eps I've seen were "The Ultimate Weapon", "Ghost in the Machine", "Fight or Flee", "The Return of Optimus Prime", and I vaguely remember "Five Faces of Darkness", and I don't remember him being featured prominently in any of those.
