I guess I don't really have a grail of TFs. My "big want" until recently was Monstructor. After finally piecing him together I felt somewhat under whelmed. Then it was Armada Nemesis Prime. I got him and he's still MOSC. I don't really feel like opening him.

 

I guess my current wish is the Predaking reissue. I only had one of the original figures and I love gestalts. Maybe if they would reissue Scorponok then I would probably want him more. I don't really care for the original toys as long as the reissue is pretty close and much cheaper.

I know it's got the crappy "classic" gold packaging, (going by what other people think of it,) but it's MOSC & cheap at the moment. It's a good start!

What's your Holy Grail?  How long have you searched for it?  Ever get close?  If you have gotten it, what now?

My holy grail is to have all 19 autobots from the Ark. so far i have 13 of the 19. but it's starting to dawn on me wheeljack is in #1 spot for all of them. His price is going up as the monthes pass. It's not hard to complete a wheeljack, it's just hard to find the body. He's the only one i dont have now that i had as a kid. sideswipe for me is #2 now that i have a nearly completed sunstreaker. If you have 1 you gotta have the other.

Wheeljack's a tough one. Aside from Optimus Prime, he's probably the most expensive one to complete from the original '84 Autobots.

 

Out of curiosity, how are you coming up with 19? I'm coming up with 18, unless you count Bumper.

as my beast era collection is complete for general release,.....i guess my holly grail would be any of the beast era lucky draw figs. should have bought the perefect choice cheetus for $200 when i had the chance.....grrrrr.

Heh, I used to have the Japanese Lione HM fig about a year ago.  However, I needed some cash for college so he was quickly on the selling block.  I miss the little guy now.

 

My current Holy Grail would have to be the eHobby minicar reissue set.  Can't seem to find one floating about around the net lately.

That's why I don't even want to bother with the Japanese Transformers (at least until I'm done collecting all of the U.S. lines). Many of them are very cool, but if I bought one, I'd have to buy them all. It would end up leaving me broke and insane. :tflaugh

 

I'm having a hard enough time hunting down the 3 Action Master Elite's I need and Overlord.

My Grail for the longest time was getting a Predaking. 350 dollars latter I had a complete one :clap . 3 months latter the reissue was anounced :tdown . Now I have 2 and can't seem to sell my vintage one. My current Holy Grail would have to be a mint complete Thunderwing. Almost singed up for a Paypal account just to buy him last week.
