Wow, you and Metal Gear totally made my day... I don't have a "valuable" collection by any means, but with the exception of Brave Max (which I badly want) I do have every item you're looking for.

 

I would have to say that my Holy Grail is a G1 Megatron, though... never had him as a kid, never held one ever, and of course I always liked the Decepticons better so he is *the* Decepticon to own.  Should've just paid retail for him when he was reissued, but no!  I thought he could be had cheaper from a stateside dealer.  Stupid me!

i totally know the feeling. i had the original prime when i was a kid but never megs. actually the first megatron i ever owned was transmetal megs from bw. when i saw the takara reissue of megs there was no question. i had to have it.

Yeah, for the longest time a G1 Megs was mine as well.  I was fortunate to have one when I was a kid (what the heck could have been cooler than a GUN that transforms into a robot?  Plus it had a whole bunch of kick-ass attachments!).  One day, I came home to find that another kid (child of a family friend) had dismantled Megs' entire right leg.

 

So when the Takara reissue first came out (the one in the old skool box) I reclaimed him!

 

Then I moved on to more...expensive tastes.

me, i'm simple i just want all the versions of jazz/meister, not hard to find, not to expensive, i just got to put in the time, and effort for it, as currently i only own the alt version.

Metroplex was the only big TF I owned as a kid, and my missus got me one last Xmas. I just need Scampers pistol (for a reasonable price) and I'm there!

To me, a holy grail is the toy to end all toys. The toy you get and getting it means you would stop collecting. For me, that toy is Lucky Draw clear Sixshot. If I got that toy, I would stop collecting. Seriously. It is so unlikely that I would even get that toy that I will probably be collecting forever.

Mine keeps shifting. For a time it was G1 Prime, now I've got the domestic reissue, NY Convoy, Convoy #0, MP-01 and  20th Ann. Optimus Prime as well as dozens of Optimus related goodies like Choro-Q and PVCs.

Then it was Fort Max, cuz I traded mine away and now I've got Brave Max which I kind of like better. Then it was Devastator which a friend of mine just gave me for my birthday. Then it was the Scramble city gestalts which I have all of now.

Lately, I just keep setting my sights low so I'm easier to please, like right now I'm longing for a Squeezeplay.

I'd also like to acquire the Turbomasters, Boss, Scorch, Flash, and Hurricane (did i get the names right?).

 

Gonna go get me some Alt-Tracks goodness, he's been like a mini-grail for me.

Gold lucky draw Masterpiece Prime.  I suspect I'll never own him :-(
