By good, I mean not Animeformers. As in, a show written and directed by Americans.

I'd like to see a show that was 3D animated, with animation similar to that of BW, but more sophisticated.

I'd also like to see a lot of the old core characters who're often neglected these days (like Hound, Soundwave, Wheeljack, Brawn, the other Seekers, Combiner teams, etc.) make a return.

Also, I wouldn't mind G1 influences, but would want them to stay away from tying it directly into G1 -- a fresh start if you will.

I'd also like to see the Dinobots return in full glory...not sure if I'd want them to combine or not, however.

And I'd also like the characters to have more realistic alt. modes instead of the techno-futuristic designs they've had as of late.

And no lame gimmicks, no Minicons, no Planet Keys -- just pure action.

Limited focus on the humans, but it's OK if they play a small part (like how Spike and Sparkplug helped the Autobots adapt to Earth life).

Hmm... :schin

um beast wars was canadian and G1 tho writen in the US was made in korea then japan for the head masters and so on so their has never realy been a pure US show.

i like the anime style but i do like the way beast wars was writen maybe a fushion of the 2.

or  they could just animate the DW g1 comic

Well, the key here is that the good shows had AMERICAN writers, even if the animation was done outside the US...just saying.

How about North American, eh?

Or lets put it this way, a mature show that doesn't treat their viewers like they're drooling into a bib.

Not to insult RiD and the Armadaverse, but some of that stuff is just plain retarded.

The Galaxy Force version has a great plot so far :P

Unlike the Cybertron verison.....which was written by american writers *or atleast far as i know*

DINOBOTS MUST COMBINE!

If they bring them back, they must fix the one thing that was wrong with that team.  They MUST combine.  No combine= :tdown

It should be a G1 show made mature for adults, but one kids can still watch and love.

It can be both, look at Beast Wars!  My six year old nephew has started watching it and he loves it.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

funny how so many people miss that isn't it ;)

*Transformers can't have realistic alt modes becuse of legal reasons.

*The target audiance likes gimmicks such as Microns and force chips

*The target audiance likes animie.

The next show should be produced by a competent japenese studio and translated by as competent American one.

the next series should be silly and stupid on purpose.

"Transformers: Whose Line is it anyway?"
