I have the same KO. Its good by KO stamdards but the joints are a little, check that, very flimsy. how are you tightening the joints? Escpeccially on his legs. I cant unscrew or tighten the pins that connect the legs.

Cheap and good it seems, I'd take one, though needs a Decepticon Symbol.

Hey, if you look at the guy's website, he has a KO G1 Star Saber :clap  :clap  :thumb  :thumb . Does anybody know if this is cheap or if its worth buying?

I have one and did the same things - although instead of painting, I used rubbing alcohol to remove the orange paint on the barrel tip.

 

For joint tightening I just took a screwdriver to all of the visible screws, most were loose - he tightened up nicely.

The KO Star Saber is nice. (I owned one)

 

It includes:

 

Main body/Jet.

BrainMaster/Red Jet.

BrainMaster Figure (Gimmick DOES work, even the little "elevator" to put the figure in does as well.)

Gun.

Sword.

 

Everything the original had, just not in a box, no printed instructions, and afaik no Autobot stickers.

 

It's worth it, can't go wrong.

There is more than one KO Star Saber.  I have one (...somewhere...) which was only the red jet and brainmaster, without the bigger blue parts/whatever.  Was also pretty crappy quality.  I might get one of this complete one.
