...speechless, that is amazing excellent paint app that graphite color is amazing..if u dont mind me asking how did you go about addin that license plate....i do have one small nitpick about it the top of the car mode looks alil plain but the sides and everything else are spectacular best KB ive seen in a good while

MasterofPuppets - I do have to remove the Shockblast hand for transformation...however, the other two Armada Hand Attachments can be left on, and with enough patience, wedged to fit for transformation.

 

Mattimus - I made the license plate file with Adobe Illustrator.  I printed it out onto Testor's Clear Decal Paper. 

 

MAKE SURE TO LET THE INK DRY...I'm so impatient I ruined like ten of them...

 

You then cut it out, put it on top of a layer of water for 5 seconds, and the decal paper comes off...its real thin, and you have to be careful when applying it.  It takes like 12 hours to dry completely.

 

The roof/top of vehicle mode was left intentionally plain, knowing that somehow I would get a lightbar from an Alternators Prowl.

If I may suggest, Chimneyville Decals has a bunch of 1/24 lightbars. Not to question Mattimus Prime's reliability, but just putting it out there.

well u might want to check out those light bars...didnt win...i hate dial-up

That's cool man, even if I have to wait till Prowl comes out in the US...I will get that light bar...

 

I think I checked out Chimneyville...but I really wanted the triangle shaped light bar reminiscent of Galaxy Force First Aid.

 

If anything I will figure out a way to remove the light from Armada Red alert and figure out a way to mount it on the Mustang.

 

But I can wait...I now I'm going to buy a Prowl to make Wheeljack anyway.

quick question have you thought about PL Armada Red alert

- The minicon Longarm...which I am currently painting. (Nothing too special...just the tan color being turned into Nickel Shimmer, and the windows being red)

 

- I also might take the should cannon from Armada Red alert, which can be seen in the pic above, and mount it on Alt Red alert's shoulder...maybe...

 

I am also thinking about not painting the rims gold...I kind of like the colors now...let me know what you guys think!

why not Longarm transforming into a shoulder cannon which will be able to be mounted on the shoulder?

I didn't consider him at first, but I did consider the Prowl from that Sam's Club Prowl vs. Starscream Two-Pack.

 

It would be really cool to have the regular Alternator Red alert and the Powerlinx Alternator Red alert side by side.  (I'd still use the Mustang!)

 

The cool thing about the Powerlinx version is the text on the hood...that would add some real character to vehicle mode.  I would use a slightly darker orange however...

 

Are you planning on making one?

 

I'm leaning towards the golden rims myself...just worried about messing it up...I got the end of game jitters...hahahahaha

 

I'm finishing up Longarm tonight/tomorrow...and if I can figure out a way to make him into the shoulder cannon...that would be an awesome idea.  Perhaps I can use the extra Armada Red alert hand attachments as the "cannons"

my attempt on transforming longarm into a "cannon"

 

- rotate the crane to the back so that its pointing to the back

- fold back the crane into half

- do some alteration like maybe add a gunpoint or gunmuzzle at the end of the folded crane.

 

hope U can picture what i was trying to say... just my weird idea. perhaps U could do a better job.
