With all the talk about the Primus possibly being a BW-Neo Unicron prototype retool, can anyone tell me if this is the case?

I love the figure, but I don't love having to wait over a year to get it! WTF HASBRO?!?!? :wtf  Takara will probably have theirs out within 6 months and Hasbro is going to lose a boat load of business to them yet again.

hey, hasbro is always going on about how tf fans are less than nothing. if hasbro loses the fans' money to takara(who arguably has a better raport with the fandom), then hasbro deserves what it gets.

Primus is most likely a new mold.

I highly doubt Hasbro is going to lose a significant amount of money due to people importing the toy.

i hear you my fellow brit. i think there is another thing that we can inturpret from the 2006 release that is potentially bad. since RID weve had a series every year. rid-armada-energon-cybertron. with this release date and primus being in cybertron am i to take that there will be no series next year and could this finally be a sign of hasbro loosing so much money it wouldent be profitable to make another series so soon. it could end up with g1- bw where we wait a few years then a new serie swith effort comes out and flys off the shelf

52 episodes of Cybertron... 52 weeks in a year... Considering that, plus any sort of skipped holidays or random restarts/marathons that Cartoon Network is known for, we'll probably be getting Primus at the extreme earliest June 2006.  Factor in delays and fall 2006 isn't that far off from his show appearance.  However, if the rumor holds any water that this series will go to straight-to-DVD releases at some point, it may take even longer for the show to pan out.

It looks, very nice and all, but fall of 2006? that has to be a typo right?  :tfhuh  And that's a damned northern hemisphere fall isn't it? ie. September - November instead of March - May.

 

Here's hoping Takara has their's out by christmas, doesn't cost much more to import them if you aren't a yank.  :tflaugh

Currently, I haven't started any Galaxy Force/Cybertron action figures collection.

 

I really wanna buy this one such that I can put Primus in a duel with Unicron.
