Well, looks like this is the second time we've been cheated out of an Ironhide reference in favor of Skids.  Does anyone else remember a certain Energon figure that was so clearly Ironhide, right down to the weapons platform?  Yeah, I'm still waiting for my red repaint on that one, too.

Actually Universe is doing Energon figs now. I wouldn't get my hopes up but its something to think about. They repainted Snowcat and downshift so far.

They did mention that there will be five new Alt/BT molds in 2006... if you don't count Trailbreaker (aka Swindle), that leaves Mirage, Ratchet, Ironhide, Hoist, Grapple, and Inferno of the original Autobots (six guys). Given that they'll do two if not three versions of every mold, that gives you ten to fifteen new character possibilities. So I guess what I'm saying is that I would be surprised if Ironhide turned out to be a remold of Skids, especially since it looks like Blaster will be the first remold/repaint, and they'll probably want to put a Decepticon version out there as well.

Skids looks like Fatimus Prime. His arms and legs need to be bulkier.

also in the list of 7 exculive TF's for OTFCC thier was a iron hide so maybe its tow line in red

You're forgetting about the little guys (Brawn, Gears, Huffer). Maybe Brawn, since he was a mini SUV, could be something like the Toyota Matrix or the Pontiac Vibe. Maybe Gears could be some kind of pick-up truck painted blue. I'm not sure about Huffer being some stylish updated vehicle. He was merely what Optimus Prime was but on a mini-scale.

That was my thought as well, when I read the lineup for that group!  :thumb I'm crossing my fingers on that one as well...
