all but Arcee

In addition to Arcee I don't think I have ever seen an Elita-1.

It is so sad...

... that arcee looks like she has been riding a "horse" all day and can't walk straight.

"Thats what Happens when Botties start Slappin'....."    :tflaugh

(Just call ME 'Mr.Ed' on that one...)  :tftongue

No offence to Arceeproto, but this one's better.

I've heard this over and over and over,

Please, if you're going to pull up the SAME old three pictures of this piece that was made in '98 in Japan, include some comparisons. Like.

The head is sculpted better or the arms are more female or the colors are better or I like the alt mode better.

Don't just say the same old thing that everyone else has been saying... without adding something of value to the conversation.

Please!

Tell my WHY she's better!

Cheers!

- Hal

The only thing I think better in that one is that the head is not seen in the alt mode (unless the preview pictures are not showing it right as it's now). Otherwise yours is better as it's actually available in a little while and is fully customizable.

1. Head Scuplt

Your Arcee's face is too thin in relation to the helmet.  Your helmet is also not as polished in that it looks a bit too 'jumbled' up together.

The head showing in alt mode is also a problem.

2. Neck is way too long and thin.  This also made the already thin face even thinner.

3. The biggest problem I have is the proportion.  Hips/butt to the waist and upper body is way off.  It gives a really weird look.

Lastly, the hips are too far out to the sides.

I've heard this over and over and over...

There's some value to constructive criticism, right?  It's not as though you're selling these things on the cheap, after all.

Criticisms for Arceeproto (AR for short):

Her head is too high above her sholder (her neck is too long)

1998 version has better overall proportion.

1998 version has much more natural feminine stance

AR looks good, for an assembly kit

1998 looks good as a transformer

1998 back pack looks more integrated

AR back pack looks like, well, a back pack

1998 color scheme is strong with the help of the black accent

AR color seems weak, maybe it's the photographs

AR screw joints make her look like she's home made, maybe there's a way of hinding the joints and making her more "graceful-living being" looking, not "sex-toy-robot-made-in-my-basement-with-spare-lawn-mower-parts" looking.

as a hobby project i would say that this is damn good.  but as a business enterprise, i would expect Masterpiece quality, considering, it cost more then MP.

I've heard this over and over and over...

Yet one should consider the work already put into this. That it's not the perfect version for a few you will allways have anyway.

I agree with Eucep. The Arcee that FG showed the pics of is better because the head isn`t visable in bot mode.

I don't mean to imply it's less than good, or even great, but I support the opinion that the 98 figure seen above is the sharper figure.  And if I was going to spend well over $100 for an Arcee, I'd rather it look like that one.  When marketing a product, it's important to accept and analyze feedback.  A v.2 isn't out of the question, provided sales of the original warrant it, right?
